VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, TYPICAL MARKETING DECEPTION Being the very definition of marketing deception, this very expensive (265 Euros/two nights, April, 2023, payed 3 weeks in advance) and bad hotel is presented as follows:“ boasts two indoor pools,..., soundproofed rooms,..., superb restaurant". Alas, the on site experience was completely different, in the worst possible negative way. First, the big indoor pool ( the only one where swimming is possible), and its entire area ( jacuzzi, armchairs) were closed, without notifying in advance or at least at check- in, or adjusting the price. Secondly, the rooms at the second floor, like ours, make the night rest/ sleep impossible, given the very loud music and vibrations from the " superb hotel restaurant" Tirol, literally shaking the walls.( even after 23.30, when it was supposed to be closed). Another " bonus"- the startling, very disturbing and loud fireworks, just across, very near, practically in front of the hotel, at the same late hour. Though we made complaints ( via mail and at the reception), the manager never answered/ apologized. Instead, somebody adressed only the pool issue, writing that no compensation will be given, ..., “it was an emergency“ , but the hotel staff told us otherwise, that it was a maintenace periodically process. So, if you want to throw away your money, while beeing cheated, disrespected, ignored, not able to sleep, you could consider this horrible place.

Very good location, in the center of the Sinaia resort, cozy rooms but very high beds, as if you are climbing on the house roof, not in a bed! Extremely inconvenient car parking, you practically pull the trolley to cross a street. Access to the spa is by stairs only, without an elevator. Although it is a 5-star category with access for disabled guests, the spa is practically inaccessible to these guests.

We just came back from a 4nights stay that we mostly enjoyed. + We appreciated the view from our room, + the staff was lovely, + the bed was pleasant to sleep in, + the place was spotless, and + the spa was, on it's own, a reason to stay at this hotel. + The massages and additional services available are prompt and good quality. + We also liked the food - quality and variety. The location was nice. 40 min on foot to Peles and 10 min by car. Public transportation is available. That being said, there were some things that I disliked. I'll write them in the order we found out about them: - There was no AC. This is not terrible as the weather is cool, especially at night, but during the day, the temperature in the room can get to 27-28 degrees (windows closed). Feel free to keep your windows open, but know - with your windows open, you can hear almost everything your neighbours are saying. I can only assume they can also hear you. - The internet connection is horrible. Reminded me of dial-up and the time one had to wait to load a small photo. - The TV was simply for aesthetic purposes. Would only display one image. We could not watch the news or connect it to any external device. - What I found the most bothersome was what I consider a hidden fee. The hotel is pet friendly (which is one of the reasons we chose it). Prior to coming, we asked what conditions apply to pets and we were told they are simply welcome except for restaurant and spa. We had a few other hotel options but decided on H.I.Sinaia because they had no extra fees for pets. We found out at the end of our stay that we were wrong. The fee is 30 euros per night per pet. Affordable or not, having asked before coming, I was deeply dissappointed to find out at the end of my stay about it.

Hotel is fine, would have been a nice experience if personnel could show welcoming attitudes, especially they ask serious money for your stay. One cannot feel a prince but an unwilling disease.

The hotel is nice. The lobby furniture is impressive, made from wood and colored in a dark color. The elevators were a little lazy for my taste. The room where I stayed is was big enough, is was clean, I didn't notice something out of the ordinary , the mattress was good, same thought about the pillow . The room temperature was a little hot for my taste and I end it up in powering off the heating and keeping the balcony door opened, so the room will be a little cooler. Regarding the food I don't have something to mention as it was normal . All in all is was a nice experience 👌 .

Horrible experience. Bad food - I got sick there. The room - it was an apartment - awfull. The TV was not working, the couch was broken. When we checked in, the bathtube still had hair in it, from previous guests 🤢 No solution was offered not even an applogy. The most awfull Easter Holiday!!!

Very hot in the rooms at night and the air very dry. The heat cannot be adjusted or turned off. Water in the room only for a fee, instant coffee in a sachet, no espresso machine in the room. The coffee at breakfast is bitter, it is not 100% arabica.

Gorgeous and great value. Beautiful view. Helpful staff with good English. Fabulous spa.

We stayed there in the beginning of November and the experience here was very disappointing. We had rooms on the second floor and from time to time a loud noise could be heard. We hoped it would stop, but it translated to a sleepless night and the next day we called the receptionist to find out what was happening. At first we were told they will investigate, but we had to insist to find out it was coming from the restaurants' refrigerator units below. This is not something that happens out of the blue, they must have been aware of it, but tried to hide it. Keep in mind this noise will likely be heard at multiple floors above: we managed, after a lot of back and forth with the receptionist, to receive other rooms and the 6th and 7th floor and at the 6th floor the noise was faint, but still present. The rooms are ok, but be aware that the heating system is limited to a maximum that is controlled from the reception: for us the limit was set at 22 degrees and we had to ask for an increase. Also the ventilation in the toilet can be really noisy and it cannot be turned off separately: it is controlled by the light switch. Another disappointing experience was with the bar, the cocktails were tasteless and low quality. Overall we can't recommend this hotel, as the value for money is simply not there.

We had coffee and different types of sweets - they were so delicious and the stuff was really friendly, they brought us blankets and cusions for the chairs since it was chilly - 1st of October. They were attentif including with the kids.

Great hotel. One of the first in Sinaia. Rooms are ok, cleaning was good , the room service fast and on point, the meals at the restaurants also very tasty and delicious!
