Experienced live music for the first time in St. Catharines and loved it. Food is great, and the staff is really friendly and courteous. Went there on a Friday evening and the place was packed. But everything was well organized. Would recommend it to other friends too.

We had a great evening. We went for a 40th birthday celebration. Ordered some tasty drinks, a few shooters and split just a half size of nachos that was super huge for our group of 5. The band came on and we put on our dancing shoes. Met some great people. Laughed large and enjoyed some superior drink service. Can't say enough good things. Oh yes and we brought in our own cake our waitress appeared with plates forks and a big knife. Made our night!

It's a quaint, old-timey, comfortable, family-owned restaurant/bar. They recently updated the menu for modern tastes, providing competent service with a warm greeting as soon as you step inside, along with very generous food portions.

The food is so good never had a bad meal and love the frozen margheritas

Had a wonderful time here at Cat's, came here with a friend for a quick catch up in between our schedules and we couldn't be happier with this place. Food was fantastic, amazing big portions so you really get the best bang for your buck. Prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get. Was very impressed. The staff were super friendly and approachable, checked on us when needed and gave us privacy also when needed. Were very attentive to other customers and us when needing items and refills. Had a very warm atmosphere and was super cozy, it looks like a dive pub but that's what makes it great. You can tell the staff and kitchen really care about their customers. They also have a ton of gluten free options!

Ate here growing up a lot with my grandparents! Glad to see they've slowly expanded next door (and next, and next). Food and service were great but they could be a little more attentive! Girlfriend asked for lemon in her water and I asked for a side of mayo, it was a busy night and neither are deal breakers, the experience made it worth it! Will come back 😊

Food is always fantastic and the host and staff are always very polite and professional. Philly steak sub and home cut fries on special is fantastic. Cheese balls are also homemade and taste great.

I've only been here a few times but have always left satisfied. A lot of good food at respectable prices and portions, with some good daily specials and live music. I went recently with a group of 8 with no reservation and they were able to quickly accommodate us with no wait time, the service was surprisingly good and fast despite the restaurant being very busy. A few minor complaints with the food, the chicken wings were decently sized and juicy but I received all of mine as drumsticks and another at the table received all of his as flats, personally I prefer drumsticks anyway but I think they should be mixed. The pulled pork on the sandwich was also a little dry, but overall a great staple restaurant of the city and I would recommend it to anyone who has never been here.

Huge portions and everything we ordered was good. I got the black bean sweet potato veggie burger, it was ok. It would be better without the goat cheese, but still tasty. Those nachos are the half order!

Busy place ,but was seated right away on a Saturday night at 5pm. Food was great 👍 I had Shepherd pie good portions , my friends had Fish and Chips ( were a bit dark but they said tasted very good ). HALF SIZE Nachos WoW was enough for 4 people for munchies and drinks!! Last meal was buffalo chicken salad, she also said was good. Server was very nice ,but one thing was a bit meh (u know) she was already starting to walk away while we still telling her our orders, I do understand efficiency when busy although we had to ask her for other things when she returned with 1st item cause she took off too fast . Didn't ruin my night there tho, would return any chance I get ! Def recommend

Went for a bite to eat while my daughter was at basketball practice. I ordered the Monday night special which was the Philly cheese steak and a side for $11.99. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. I've also been here numerous times on a Friday night for their live music and it's always a good time. A great local place for both food and drinks.

Great atmosphere, live music, amazing food, and friendly staff. The service was fast and professional whilst still feeling very comforting. The staff all treat you with respect and go above and beyond. Absolutely a great place to have a drink and hang out, or sit down with the family and have a delicious dinner. There are 2 separate rooms for both, so it never feels awkward. Overall great experience.

I was thoroughly impressed by cats! It has easily been 10 years since I've been there. I couldn't believe how busy the place was, how fast we got our food and how delicious it was. There was an assortment of orders at our table everything looked and tasted delicious. The waitress was friendly. Definitely looking forward to returning.

I took my uncle there for a cheese burger he was amazed at the size and taste, I had been their a few weeks earlier and knew how good they are. Our waitress made him strawberry milk shake from scratch because they aren't on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant 👍👍

They have a very good selection of food and snacks. They had a live band Vinyl Flux the night we went ... excellent variety of music. Good place to go as a couple or with friends. Wentvthere for lunch yesterday. Food was very good and the service was good. They even had live music . Will be back.

I do love this place. We have been here a few times now.. mostly because of their insane nachos and my personal favourite, the quirky turkey. We opted for an appetizer this time, the pulled pork potato skins. They were ok. Too much bbq sauce for my liking, as that’s really all you could taste; and for $15, I kind of expected more than 3 pieces, each of the 3 were decent sized, but still.. $15. The quirky turkey sandwich was awesome as usual; the sweet potato fries and dip were good.. I definitely overestimated how much I could eat that night as I ate only about half, but it was a good lunch the next day. Nachos were ginormous.. they layer everything so you’re not just eating plain nachos after you demolish the top. I didn’t try them but I was told they were good, just lacking a little extra cheese throughout. Our waiter was friendly and quick; she came around a few times to see if everything was good and to refresh our drinks. Atmosphere is always good; usually pretty busy and the decor is unique.. just how I like it.. not boring. The patio was open (we ate inside), and noticed that there was a sign stating that the patio is dog friendly.. which is amazing. I will definitely keep this in mind for next summer!

Great place all around. We had crispy chicken wings w fresh cut fries. A side of gravy and onion rings! We had a feast including fish and chips n a pitcher of beer. Great food, great value, fun times always.

Only got one picture unfortunately but the Nashville Chicken Sandwich is so extremely sweet I could not finish it at all and left the restaurant still hungry. It was not spicy in the slightest. Way too sweet. Something that really frustrates me is when I ask for something and the server doesn’t inform me if there’s an extra cost/how much extra. I asked for one extra slice of pickle and she gave me a whole bunch and I felt so awkward but accepted it because she dropped it on the table so fast and left immediately before I could speak to her. Literally only wanted one and only ate one from what she gave me. The bill comes and it was an extra $3… I definitely wouldn’t have asked for it if it was going to be $3 extra. It just wasn’t worth it and I didn’t need that much of how much she gave me when I only asked for 1 slice. Not worth it at all and really frustrating that she didn’t inform me of the extra charge. I would like to try this place again but that really turned me off from coming back.

Terrific sports pub restaurant in St Catharines. Lots of TV screens to catch the game and live music too. The food portions are generous and tasty. Highly recommend the fish and chips and the salads. You won't leave hungry!

It is a great local place to go out to with a group of friends, listen to live music on Fridays, and enjoy authentic food that has not changed since the 1970s (as far as I heard) 😄 The service is always welcoming and sincere here, it feels like you are always coming back to your friends house but not a restaurant. The general vibe of the place is closer to the bar if I'm being honest. But if you look at the food quality, the atmosphere, the people around you - it is indeed a restaurant, and a good one 👍🏼 I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice family oriented restaurant or bar on Friday evening. If you like live music and enjoy classic dishes like burgers, fish and chips, good pizza and great homemade cheesecake. Highly recommend 💯

Great restaurant just down the road from Brock University. Reasonable prices and delicious meal. It was my son's birthday and we picked up our daughter from university and the waitress picked up that it was his birthday and brought out a small cake. Thank you for the great service.

This place hasn't changed at all...in a good way. I used to come here alot, during my university days and only recently moved back to the area. Nice to see the addition of a patio. Inside could use a bit of a refresh. To their credit Place, restaurant is always busy. Really good portions. You can't go wrong.

Food was excellent. Really enjoyed the fish and chips. The only things that were kind of off was the music which was a weird mix (Anne Murray into Rob Zombie) which provided little atmosphere and the fact that we weren’t sure who our actual server was.

This place has never let me down. The food is always hot and fresh. Never once had an issue. The brisket burger is delicious and their nachos are the best I have in niagara in a very long time. All the staff that I have had interactions with have always been friendly and willing to help.

Amazing place to eat, rest and meet with friends! The staff are super friendly! We brought my daughter there for her birthday and the wait staff and kitchen sent out special treat for her that made her night! The food is delicious with generous portions! They go they extra mile. I absolutely love this place. Been coming here for months now and got to say, Kristine caught our eye at our first visit when she poured our beer in our cups for us when leaving the pitcher at the table so we were able to drink it right away. She makes the experience so lively and is probably one of my favourite servers and keeps me coming back. Food is absolutely over the top and price is reasonable! Definitely highly recommend! But save me a seat;)

Went back for the first time in years and was amazed how much it's changed! The menu is fantastic and extensive. Great portions for the price, well seasoned. The waitresses (We had Jessica and Andrea) both amazing at their job, above and beyond, super friendly, and knowledgeable. Had the best time out here. The booth was huge! If you're on the fence for this one give it a try, we'll worth the trip 🌟

Went at lunch with a few girls. Made a reservation which you can't do at all places. Had a great buffalo chicken salad that was huge. Will have that again. Was delicious. The salads are large there. Someone had a reuben sandwich and fries which looked very good. The fries were fresh and crispy. Our waitress was courteous and friendly. Big place. Good food.

We attended an engagement party at Cat's Caboose. It was very well done. The servers attending the party did a great job checking with the guests and bringing out the hors d'oeuvre which were very yummy. The pizza had a thinner crust and was very tasty with pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms.
