Small spot. But good food. Price point is good ! Service is friendly. I tried the smoked meat clubhouse which is a different option than other breakfast spots. Wasn't the best! But was still pretty good 👍

Fabulous breakfast place. Words really cannot explain the experience I had at this breakfast place. Our Server Christine was just outstanding. Not just with myself and my guest but I saw the nteraction with other atrons as well. I am specially writing this review in business hours where I normally do this after. This place has the exact atmosphere you need for a breakfast date.

We have always gone here for our breakfast (Ontario street). The last time we went, it was 2pm and this pretty little blonde waitress was there. She didn't even acknowledge us, although there was only one other table in there. I felt a rude vibe and waited for her to greet us, say hello or even smile…. Nothing but awkward silence. Obviously she didn’t want us there. I had never seen her before, so I suspect she is new. Needless to say, we left. We have moved to the lake street location and have been very happy there.

The food was amazing. Even the prices & portions were good. There sausages were melting in mouth. Definitely going back there again when I am in Niagara.

A friend that lives in St Catherine's recommended this place for Brunch. So we left the Tourist Trap area of the falls and drove 10mins out to the Ontario street exit and saw this small quaint Dinner. Dont let the appearance Fool you. The Food is THAT good! I dont usually eat the sliced fruit but let me tell even the Orange was extra Juicy and Sweet. I had jumbo breakfast only 15 bucks and I swapped my sausage/meat choice to Pastrami. No lie I was in heaven. The Best French Toast on the planet is served here! Pleasantly surprised. If your staying in Niagara its worth the 10 minute drive to Johnny"s. Staff was super friendly as well.

What a fantastic breakfast/lunch place. The best pastrami in the world, the tastiest home fries with sauteed onions, eggs done to perfection with to die for pancakes and generous toast of choice. Worth every cent. Abundant. Delicious. Christine is down to earth, caring and personable.

Omg where do I start! All time favourite breakfast in ontario. French toast is amazing! Id sell a kidney if I had to! Simple bacon and eggs delicious. Pretty sure eggs are cooked with butter they taste amazing. Staff are lovely and very accommodating.

This was our best breakfast during our trip! Highly recommend the onions with the home fries. The pancakes were very tasty and had a great texture. Our server was efficient, professional with a sense of humour.

We were heading through St. Catharines today and picked up a Club House sandwich and a Montreal Smoked Meat on a kaiser. Both were excellent! Fresh ingredients and made quickly. Will be back!

Great breakfast! This small restaurant is tucked away on the corner of Ontario and Carlton Street. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean restaurant, great food and wait staff.

Got club sandwich, loaded Philly cheese steak, Greek salad, and Western omelette with cheese. Everything was perfect. Usually at least one thing is wanting at a restaurant, but this place seems to have an attention to detail.

Ordered pickup and it was ready so quickly! The food was amazing! Only got breakfast items and I really enjoyed the eggs benedict and home fries with onion on top was really good and so was everything else I ordered. Looking forward to going back and trying the pastrami.

If I could give this place a higher rating I would!! We were looking for a good breakfast place and a friend recommended Johnny Pastrami's, her words were "when you get there don't judge from the out side, the people are amazing and the food is even better." I love Johnny Pastrami's for breakfast. My breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The restaurant is relatively small so we were thankful to get a table. Service was excellent.

Hiding in plain sight is the gyro. It's $10.95. I have to recommend it. When you think about all the fast food options on Ontario St. this outclasses them by a mile. The gyro is delicious! The all day breakfast is always great and service is on point. I'm happy to support local business and this one is always busy for good reason. Great food and great service.

Was in town for a couple of days, and wanted to support local business. I walked in and said 'Good morning!' to an elderly woman with black dyed hair. I exclaimed, "Burger King is closed" with a silly grin on my face. She didn't respond. I then asked her how her day was going? As she walked away, replied "good". Another elderly lady entered from the kitchen, with a surprised look on her face. I smiled and said, "Good morning." The first lady returned and asked if I was staying or going. I replied, ''I'd like to stay.'' She then pointed to tables on both sides of the room, which were all empty. I spotted a table for two, along the wall, but opted for a table for four, near a window. As I walked towards the table, she then suggested the table for two. I stopped and turned around. I asked, ''You want me to sit there?'' I started to head in the direction she pointed at. She replied, ''Yeah!. Sitting at a table for four is just weird.'' I immediately felt unwelcome. I gave a heavy sigh, and turned towards the door, and replied, ''Have a great day.'' She replied, ''You too.'' As i stepped out, I could hear her say, "Geeze" and I replied, "YUP!!" I'm not sure why she needed to express her opinion. I didn't ask for it and it her negativity was discouraging. Is the food good? Don't know. Was the waitress rude. Down right nasty!!!!!

Great service. We ordered philly cheese and Montreal smoked meat. Both had less meat than I would expect but in fairness their menu did have a more meat option for an extra $3.50 so I can try that next time and report back. I also thought the Montreal meat could be juicier but overall still good products on both sandwiches. The fries were fresh and crispy.

The all-day breakfast is a steal, eggs cooked just perfectly. The smoked meat sandwich is really good, too (it’s not at the level of Schwartz Deli, but this is a really high bar). It’s a short walk from home so I just head over when I’m jonesing for the good stuff.

I love breakfast food, and I was very happy with my choice. I got 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. The place itself is not fancy but clean and fast. The French toast was especially good! I have to come back with hubby next time!

Was just in town staying at the Holiday Inn across the street and boy was I glad I chose this local joint. Friendly welcome with the chef (Johnny?) and some banter. Got the pastrami sandwich which came with a nice dill pickle to complement the flavours. Honestly one of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had; tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly to go with the mustard and bread. Wish I got a second order and I had it to go! Still maintained its freshness. Sorry, should’ve took a picture but I devoured it.

First time we ordered last week, was awesome with no complaints but second time, not as great. Upgraded $3.50 for a Greek salad that didn’t have lettuce - it only had spinach. The Greek wrap was majority tomato with a tiny bit of spring mix. First poutine was great, but the second poutine looked like they forgot the cheese and still $3.95 upgrade. Kind of disappointing, but nice waitress. Probably wont go back.

Great food, large portions. We were visiting from Michigan, the staff (and other customers) were very friendly and pointed is toward many other local places to eat, drink, and enjoy.

Haven't been in a few months, but will not return. We ordered a large sandwich to share as these have always been too much for one of us. Our large sandwich was smaller than half of the usual Small. Not impressed with the reduction in size for the price paid.

Great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Smoked meat hash was a nice change from the ho hum breakfasts you get in most breakfast places. Friendly service. We will be back for more!

What a gem of a diner to discover! They serve fresh and sumptuous smoked meats. We were served by Christine, who gave us the best service we have ever experienced. Super warm and friendly. Prices were fair. Quality of food was excellent. A must drop in when you visit St Catharine, and even worthy of a deliberate trip here.

Best breakfast in town. Small simple diner with great food. I highly recommend upgrading your potatoes to the smoked meat hash. Delicious! Also the French toast is very good with a slight crispness to it. Get the breakfast combo to experience it all.

Took almost an hour to get food. Menu and dining room are not even large enough to excuse this sort of timing. Breakfast service with a menu of eggs, 3 kinds of meat, pancakes and toast. Maybe a total of 20 tables. Nothing on the menu should take more than 5 minutes to make. No tables food should exceed 15-20 minutes from the time of their order.

Great experience again at Johnny Pastrami's Christine was very hospitable and we recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an easy good meal!!

The best french toast in the city!!! (Not if you are counting calories though lol) sweet, buttery and delicious. Servers are the same 2 every saturday and are friendly and quick!. I have never eaten something there (or at the Lake location ) that i didnt like. Prices are unbeatable for the portion size. I never leave hungry!! Would highly reccommend both locations

I had the big boy breakfast because I’m a big boy and BOY was it BIG! My friend dropped his sausage into his coffee and it actually enhanced the flavour! The service was excellent and prompt and the food was good. I particularly enjoyed the onions on my taters. All in all great stop on our way to Viagara falls.
