Moorcroft's Factory tour was one of the best during our pottery pilgrimage trip to Stoke. We had the most excellent guide (19th Oct). The tour was conducted with much details on the making of amazing pieces work of art.. We have done all the factory tours in Stoke, this remains the best and the must do for all. Two thumbs up for the everyone in Moorcroft Factory. Keep up the good work.

An excellent factory tour lasting around 80 minutes. Gave detailed info on every stage of the process which helped us to appreciate how many man-hours go into creating each individual piece. The shop has a wide variety of pieces, but all beyond our budget. Only down-side was the length of time standing, so they would benefit from having some folding seats (like museums, etc use) for those who struggle to stand for long periods. I highly recommend this tour!

Visiting the Moorcroft Shop and museum was a wonderful experience. The style, colours and design are unique to moorcroft and it was a real pleasure to look at them all and to watch the DVD on how a piece is conceived from design to finished piece. Corrie the lady that works there was really lively and helpful and a credit to Moorcroft.

Had the tour of the factory, which was so insightful and gives you a true appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into each piece. The showroom is a nice area with some lovely examples you can purchase, including seconds and trial pieces at a reduced price.

I visited a number of pottery factories & museums including Moorcroft in the Stoke-on-Trent areas. But my visit to Moorcroft was the most enjoyable, useful and most informative! Although we were not allowed to take photographs inside the factory, our guide was very clear and descriptive of the processes of production including the decoration processes. Excellent.👏👏👏

If you love pottery, you'll love this place. If you love Moorcroft pottery you'll adore what they have to offer. A one and half hour guided tour is well worth the time. The guide really knows her stuff, explaining the whole interesting process, then you appreciate where your money is going.

Such a wonderful place. There's quite a large car park, right next to the entrance. When we visited on a Friday afternoon, we were the only ones present. There's a small museum, detailing the history of Moorcroft. There's also a bottle kiln to view and enter, as well as a large display of items for sale.

Really interesting and informative visit, our guides took us through all the stages and processes involved with making this extraordinary pottery. Practical demonstrations were arranged at each important stage of the production. There is a museum and a well stocked shop. Great! Advice for other local visits given. Thanks

I am a Stokie but moved away around 5 years ago. My Mrs has been wanting to go and see some of the places The Potteries has to offer. After looking at Moorcrofts website at the Snowdrop vases (as she adores Snowdrops).. I saw there was a lady coming to talk about them. It seemed just perfect, so I booked two places.... We got there yesterday around 11 am and spent an hour marvelling at the wonders they have on show. At 12, Val was ready to go... everyone sat there listening to this wonderful lady. Now I am not a gardener, however I like to see a nice garden. Also, I thought the talk was going to be about Snowdrops that are on Moorcrofts Pottery.... I was wrong. There are so many different varieties and colours of snowdrops, what sort of earth they flourish in etc.. I sat for one hour, totally mesmerised and enthralled in everything Val was talking about. I actually wished she was on for 2 hours. I enjoyed it so much. So much so, I would travel yet again to listen to her. Afterwards, we went again to see the beautiful pottery and decided on two items.... when at the checkout there was a fantastic dark curly headed woman (I didn't catch her name I'm sorry) who told us all about how the painters sign their names, also I think she called them "tubers" also what shape was for this year etc..... we spoke all the way home about what a perfect day we had. It also seems that we have started a new hobby of collecting Moorcroft. Just a couple of our pictures of our 1st Moorcrofts, but certainly not our last.... Thank you all for such a fantastic time. You will see us again soon, especially now we are members.... Darren

It is a shame to see the pottery shops/museums close on a sunday when nearly everyone is off work and could visit them, and alot of people are off work on a Monday aswell

If only I could afford to buy even one of the stunning pieces available here, nevertheless it was fun to dream. The little museum attached to the shop was interesting.

Moorcroft pottery sales comprises a sale area, a small area for refreshments and a small museum displaying historical pieces. The cost of the vases, lamps etc is high but the quality is exquisite. They do have some pieces with slight imperfections at a reduced cost but you will be hard pressed to find these imperfections. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Car parking is ample. Presently you are buzzed in and they request your details for Covid purposes.

A must visit. Stunning pottery, warm and welcoming staff who are very knowledgeable and happy to spend time with you. I defy you to walk away without taking something away with you, but beware it could become addictive
