Two Omidvar brothers were the first globe trotters of Iran, at a time that travelling around the world was a big challenge. The went around the world in 1950s and produced the first documentary film on travelling in Iran. This museum gives homages to the brothers' years of travelling and seeing people in different parts of the world. The place has four main chambers, each with items related a specific lands they explored during the years of their travelling.

One of the most attractive museums I saw, if you come to Saad Abad Palace historical complex, you must visit this museum. P.N.: This museum is about two Iranian traveler brothers who started traveling around the world with a motorcycle in 1330 (later Citroƫn company gave them a car and they continued their journey with it). These two brothers even went to primitive and wild tribes of Australia, Africa and Amazon and communicated with them. The items they brought with them from all over the world, in addition to the pictures of their travels, are displayed in this museum.

There is no foreign example of such a museum not only in Iran but also in Dubai and Turkey. These two brothers did a great job that many people may not have realized. Be sure to visit, it takes an hour

The museum was opened in this place in honor of the hopeful brothers and it contains objects that these two brothers collected from all over the world and brought with them to Iran. Visiting these objects, from the real severed human head to monkey and chimpanzee skulls and elephant tusks and feet, amazes visitors who know less about the existence of such precious treasures in our country before visiting.

This museum shows all the great effort and obstacles which Omidvar Brother's were faced during their adveture all over the world. The importance of their achievements is they did at the very old time with no GPS, no TripAdvisor and none of the other aids; and in Citroen 2CV (AKA Zhian in Iran) or even tougher on Motorcycles not Toyota Land cruiser! And they offroad with that little Citroen! The gallery is full of their Original photos from the adventure days, mostly black and white and also a lot of their taxidermy collections which is of course done by them. Some items collected by from all over the world includes bows, spears and some other primitive hunting tools. There is vitrine at the left side of the enterance which shows all the filmography and photography gears they have used to capture all the great moments they had around the world. I think having the will and being so hard working beside satisfying their soul is worth remembering and cherishing. By today (June 17th, 2019) both of them are alive, one is married and live in Chile for many years now, other one interestingly visit the museum once in a month, if you're interested ask the museum. overall it was good gallery, hard to say a museum again, take a look you might be inspired.

As the first museum of anthropology in Iran, the Museum of Omidhar brothers is one of the most spectacular museums in Tehran for those interested in traveling, because it is the result of years of experience exploring culture and history and adventure all over the world by two brothers named Isa and Abdullah Omidhar Is. The Museum of the Brothers of Amidar, which is the result of a ten-year journey of these two brothers around the world, is known as one of the most exciting sights in Tehran. Although Iranian travelers have not been few throughout history, and even hearing Saadi's name, we may remember his travels around the world, but their number has been decreasing from the Safavid period to the present day. The works in the Saad Abad Palace Brothers Museum, Isa Omidhar (born in 1308) and Abdullah Omidhar (born in 1310) were one of the few adventurers of those years in the world who traveled the world in two stages. The collection of their journey is collected in a place called the Brothers of Hope Museum in the Saadabad Historical Cultural Complex and there are 4 different sections including museum halls, museum works and collections, film and photo gallery and exhibitions and programs section. In the halls of the museum, you can see the map of the journeys of the brothers of Hope, the collections that the brothers of Hope have collected from all over the world, and the pictures that these two brothers have collected from ninety-nine different countries. The history of the journeys of the hopeful brothers, these two brothers started their first adventurous trip around the world in the early fall of 1333. The journey that started from Tehran to the borders of Afghanistan and during seven years of adventure, they passed through the countries and regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Tibet, Southeast Asia and Australia, Alaska, North America and South America and parts of Europe. Machels 500 cc motorcycle accompanied them on this trip. After this seven-year period, they stayed in Europe for some time so that they could print research papers and sell them to the Citroen company (a French manufacturer) and they could buy a two-cylinder van and after a short three-month break in Iran, Second, they started their travels in 1340. The southern border of Iran with Kuwait was the starting point of the second round of the trips of these two brothers, they passed through Saudi Arabia and also visited Africa during this trip which lasted for three years. During their travels, they visited primitive tribes and made documentary films from there. The first documentary film they produced was about the Australian aborigines living a lifestyle 2500 years ago. The documentary films made by the Brothers of Hope were aired all over the world and on various television channels and were well received. Their 16-hour film was shown in Iran for ten days, which attracted many Iranians. The location of the Hopeful Brothers Museum, you may have wondered where the Hopeful Brothers Museum is? In the 110-hectare complex of Saadabad complex, a brick building with a red gable facade stands out (in the northwest of Saadabad), a building full of history and culture of all the nations of the world. The museum building was built during the Qajar era and was once used as a carriage house and a resting place for Sorchis. In 1381, this building was restored and on the 5th of Mehr 1382, at the same time as the tourism week, it became the first anthropology museum after the Iranian revolution under the name of the Brothers Brothers Museum.
