As
the
first
museum
of
anthropology
in
Iran,
the
Museum
of
Omidhar
brothers
is
one
of
the
most
spectacular
museums
in
Tehran
for
those
interested
in
traveling,
because
it
is
the
result
of
years
of
experience
exploring
culture
and
history
and
adventure
all
over
the
world
by
two
brothers
named
Isa
and
Abdullah
Omidhar
Is.
The
Museum
of
the
Brothers
of
Amidar,
which
is
the
result
of
a
ten-year
journey
of
these
two
brothers
around
the
world,
is
known
as
one
of
the
most
exciting
sights
in
Tehran.
Although
Iranian
travelers
have
not
been
few
throughout
history,
and
even
hearing
Saadi's
name,
we
may
remember
his
travels
around
the
world,
but
their
number
has
been
decreasing
from
the
Safavid
period
to
the
present
day.
The
works
in
the
Saad
Abad
Palace
Brothers
Museum,
Isa
Omidhar
(born
in
1308)
and
Abdullah
Omidhar
(born
in
1310)
were
one
of
the
few
adventurers
of
those
years
in
the
world
who
traveled
the
world
in
two
stages.
The
collection
of
their
journey
is
collected
in
a
place
called
the
Brothers
of
Hope
Museum
in
the
Saadabad
Historical
Cultural
Complex
and
there
are
4
different
sections
including
museum
halls,
museum
works
and
collections,
film
and
photo
gallery
and
exhibitions
and
programs
section.
In
the
halls
of
the
museum,
you
can
see
the
map
of
the
journeys
of
the
brothers
of
Hope,
the
collections
that
the
brothers
of
Hope
have
collected
from
all
over
the
world,
and
the
pictures
that
these
two
brothers
have
collected
from
ninety-nine
different
countries.
The
history
of
the
journeys
of
the
hopeful
brothers,
these
two
brothers
started
their
first
adventurous
trip
around
the
world
in
the
early
fall
of
1333.
The
journey
that
started
from
Tehran
to
the
borders
of
Afghanistan
and
during
seven
years
of
adventure,
they
passed
through
the
countries
and
regions
of
Afghanistan,
Pakistan,
India,
Tibet,
Southeast
Asia
and
Australia,
Alaska,
North
America
and
South
America
and
parts
of
Europe.
Machels
500
cc
motorcycle
accompanied
them
on
this
trip.
After
this
seven-year
period,
they
stayed
in
Europe
for
some
time
so
that
they
could
print
research
papers
and
sell
them
to
the
Citroen
company
(a
French
manufacturer)
and
they
could
buy
a
two-cylinder
van
and
after
a
short
three-month
break
in
Iran,
Second,
they
started
their
travels
in
1340.
The
southern
border
of
Iran
with
Kuwait
was
the
starting
point
of
the
second
round
of
the
trips
of
these
two
brothers,
they
passed
through
Saudi
Arabia
and
also
visited
Africa
during
this
trip
which
lasted
for
three
years.
During
their
travels,
they
visited
primitive
tribes
and
made
documentary
films
from
there.
The
first
documentary
film
they
produced
was
about
the
Australian
aborigines
living
a
lifestyle
2500
years
ago.
The
documentary
films
made
by
the
Brothers
of
Hope
were
aired
all
over
the
world
and
on
various
television
channels
and
were
well
received.
Their
16-hour
film
was
shown
in
Iran
for
ten
days,
which
attracted
many
Iranians.
The
location
of
the
Hopeful
Brothers
Museum,
you
may
have
wondered
where
the
Hopeful
Brothers
Museum
is?
In
the
110-hectare
complex
of
Saadabad
complex,
a
brick
building
with
a
red
gable
facade
stands
out
(in
the
northwest
of
Saadabad),
a
building
full
of
history
and
culture
of
all
the
nations
of
the
world.
The
museum
building
was
built
during
the
Qajar
era
and
was
once
used
as
a
carriage
house
and
a
resting
place
for
Sorchis.
In
1381,
this
building
was
restored
and
on
the
5th
of
Mehr
1382,
at
the
same
time
as
the
tourism
week,
it
became
the
first
anthropology
museum
after
the
Iranian
revolution
under
the
name
of
the
Brothers
Brothers
Museum.
