Very impressive museum located in the historical part of Jaffa, Probably my favorite spot to visit in Old Jaffa. Very interesting collection of masterpieces and curious thing to see. There is also small shop with very nice handmade artist’s jewelry. Such an amazing array of art throughout the most uniquely designed museum I have ever been to. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my time spent there. Profound, unusual, beautiful, mysterious, joyful. One has to experience every floor, culminating on the roof top. From the rooftop the view amazing, and atmosphere of the terrace is incredible. There are many uncountable items in the museum and -because of that- this is not a typical and classical museum. This is more than a museum. I was amazed by the variety of arts from all over the world, the lovely atmosphere and a brilliant exhibition of young artists Nadia Gorenstein & Lior Kesem Hamama.Highly recommended 🙏🙏

It is an impressive museum. Very-very interesting and unique place. Worth to visit absolutely. I arrived 15 minutes before closing. The nice desk office lady told me I can look around the museum quickly and because of the short time I didn't have to pay entrance fee. From the rooftop the view amazing, and atmosphere of the terrace is incredible. There are many uncountable items in the museum and -because of that- this is not a typical and classical museum. This is more than a museum!

A miscellaneous collection of beautiful art, which is also the home of the artist. Ilana enjoys exploring the limit between a work of art and an object, and in her hands any object can transform into concrete beauty. The house hosts works of various artists, including several famous ones, and the collection is constantly expanding. It has works of various cultures and eras, paintings as well as sculptures, authentic tribal artifacts as well as creative creations. In addition, the house has two beautiful terraces, from which one can observe Jaffa’s old city, the port, the northern part of Ajami and, of course, the sea. Do note that the elevator does not reach the upper terrace! (The rooftop, also called the sculpture garden). But there is an elevator inside the house, and there is plenty to see anyway. There is also a gift shop, on Louis Pasteur street, which can be accessed through a small staircase inside the museum. It features plenty of beautiful art. Prices are high. To summarize- a nice, small experience in the old city, with refreshing art and a creative breeze.

Do you want to know how deep this rabbit hole goes? Very unusual and interesting place. Objectively, you can probably give it 4, but emotions and sensations - it's definitely 5. I am quite picky and strict about some types of art(and modern art especially) and really dislike many things that are done objectively badly, but people can shout "wow, this is art!" ...but this place was interesting to me. This house is filled with a little art-chaos and makes you feel a little like Alice from the famous book. My experience in this place was so unusual in my personal feelings. Many of the works were interesting to look at. I definitely did not regret the purchased ticket.

The museum is located within an ancient building in Jaffa. The building has several floors where various works and collections are displayed that are intertwined with the life story of the artist Ilana Gore. Very impressive and interesting.

Maybe the most peculiar place I've ever been to, but in a good way. Full of surprises, very eclectic. The building itself is spectacular, as is the rooftop view.

Staff is not welcoming. We came one hour before closing and right at the door we made feel unwelcome as the woman opening the locked door checked the time before letting us in. Inside, there were preparations for some private function in full swing and so staff made us feel as intruders at every opportunity. To top it all up, they closed the roof sculpture garden without any explanation and fobbed us off when we asked why. The works themselves are curious and disturbing in equal measure but overall the experience is hardly worth the price.

This museum is her (the acclaimed artist's) home! The home is filled with not only her amazing art (paintings, sculpture, jewelry), but the work of other artists. All contemporary art juxtaposed with antiquities. Ancient vessels, African art, Christian art, contemporary art, all eclectically arranged to tell a story, it's her (the artist's) story. If you love art, this is a "must see"

I was very impressed by the collection in this museum. Being part of a guided tour during an event, I could have spent more time here to get more insights in the life and work of Ilana Goor, although the guide did an excellent job in hosting this "fast track" visit. There are some great restaurants and cafes nearby to enjoy a meal or drink afterwards.

Museum with varied epochs and exhibits. A lot of modern art mixed up with elements of the past time. The elements of the skin, wood of metal perfectly combined with each other and create a unique whole. Everyone will find something for their tastes with the possibility of buying. The building, both outside and inside, delights, I recommend visiting this place.

Very impressive museum located in the historical part of Jaffa, close to the part. You can find very diverse items here. Truly eclectic collection. Skin, wood, metal, photographs and paintings. There is a nice view from balcony. Must see in Jaffa. There is more art outside this place in the surrounding streets.

Fine place with eclectic desighn. Most special sunset over the sea view and great music on weekends

Mostly mediocre decorative pieces rather than art, that try to please (which is OK, if you want to decorate your office wall with inoffensive pretty objects) rather than make a profound statement. The building itself is gorgeous, but the presentation is one of cramming the space as full as possible. Not a museum by any means, but more of a personal gallery aiming at affluent tourists. The views from the windows are gorgeous though.

This is an astonishing museum- an eclectic collection, a stunning remodeling of an old home in Jaffa and gorgeous views. You could spend hours here no matter your interest: art, architecture, the personal life of a living artist.

This is truly one of the kookiest art museums I have been to, in a great way. Ilana has collected a vast and diverse collection that somehow works together. What's cool is that you can tell it's a living and breathing art museum, constantly changing and adjusting. I even saw Ilana herself for a brief moment! Unfortunately when I visited the terrace wasn't open, which seems to have even more pieces and a gives a great view of the sea, but regardless it was a fun place to spot into in the area.

Eccentric and bewildering collection of art, antiques and own works set in a beautiful old Jaffa house. An absolute delight. A fave of mine, and soon, of yours.

wow! what a memorable and unique place. I absolutely loved the diversity of artwork in this museum, learning about the artist's life, how each space itself is a work of art, and of course Ilana's works themselves. There's just so much packed in everywhere. The museum guide provided with the visit helped me not feel overwhelmed.
