A beautiful area, across from Charles Clore Park and a short walk to Neved Tzedek. The area doesn't have many shops there anymore, but is still a scenic location to visit and enjoy a coffee.

Great, historical place. It's not a train museum whatsoever just an old train station. Restaurants are good and very expensive (especially if you're a tourist).

This is a loft project with a historical basis. I did not find interesting restaurants here for good walks.

there is always free space, sometimes in the shade of trees, and at a reasonable price. 24 shekels any duration. Might not be worth visiting for a short time.

This is a fun area with many coffee places and restaurants. From time to time there are shows and conferences that take place here and the beach is pretty close. Nice place to visit if you're nearby.

Pretty area and the restoration is nice but very little to actually do there. A few boutique shops and that's about it. Worth taking a look at if you're in the area, but not more. With that being said, there is a restaurant named Vicky Christina inside the perimeter which is very nice and even worth a visit in and of itself

Very interesting and beautiful place. Both from the historical point of view (although one cannot call it a full-fledged museum), and from the point of view for simple relaxation. There are several shops and restaurants. A kind of very authentic place.

Saw the old railroad system that helped people travel from Jaffa Port to Jerusalem in 6 hours instead of 2 days in the late 19th century.

A great concept, super cool environment, but a bit devoid of life and energy! With a series of events, such as live entertainment or some other type of draw to fill it up with people, it could be really cool. It is a concept in its infancy and could be amazing, but it isn't there yet.

This is a great place to stop for a coffee, have breakfast, lunch or dinner. This place is the previous Ottoman station transformed into a court where you have a large selection of bars and restaurants. I'm amazed that everyone speaks English and they are happy to help. As in most places in Tel Aviv the tips is something everyone expects you leave.

Cool Place - shops with local stuff, cafés and because of being an old train station special atmosphere. Something different inbetween old Jaffa and new Tel Aviv. Worth to go there once while visiting the city.

It's like the Tel Aviv city hall thinks we're allergic to shade. Could've been a really nice spot if it was less likely to give you sunburns

Old rail station transformed into a cozy place with different stores / restaurants and cultural events.

I was disappointed that Google maps had me pick up my mail at a train station. I was thinking how sketchy it was going to be but what an awesome surprise to actually see this place. Beautiful and with tons of shops and things to do. However I couldn't find a bus home.

Looking for a meeting place or a place to take the kids in the evening, you found the right place.

It's a nice place to take a photo or two but we wanted to have lunch and frankly there aren't a lot of options. It's mainly coffee shops but not the kind that serves any type of real food. We did find one place there to eat and it was nice

It always feels good to be around this place or just cut through it on your way. This time found it abandoned by a restaurant and some shops, yet, a new coffee shop with very good coffee popped up.

Quiet during the day. Selection of cafes, souvenir shops and restaurants set in the Old Jaffa railway station. Suspect it comes alive once the sun goes down.

This place is such a wonderful tourist attraction! The Old Train Station 🚂 in the HaTahana Center in Tel Aviv is a great open space with a nice variety of stores and restaurants. And it's a walk away for the beach ⛱️! Definitely a great spot to walk around and explore with friends and family. I wish I came here more often!

We ate at Regina quite a few years ago and were not impressed. This time we were invited to join friends there and had a wonderful evening. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the service was excellent and our meals were all extremely good.

Way overrated. Due to lack of places to hang out, the place has become a tourist attraction. for nothing. Fancy restorant and piece of train. That is it. Enjoy.

  • 2/5 Ofer H. 2 years ago on Google
Not a lot to do around. A few nice stores. Very nice environmental design

  • 4/5 Aryeh J. 2 years ago on Google
Both beautiful place and rich in history. Yet, there has to be improvement in the number and quality of restaurants and cafes

An interesting spot in Tel-Aviv. Nice and cosey.

The Old Jaffa railway station. Terminus of the Jerusalem to Jaffa line, the first railway in Palestine. The main station building, a large collection of ancillary buildings, a few fragments of track and a couple of carriages make this a pleasant environment. Sadly it is marooned between car parks, huge works for the new light rail and much demolition of old Jaffa. It is just a collection of cafes and routine shops. Pleasant enough in a somewhat depressing way.

Very nice place to visit in Israel even for locals. It's by the sea and Close to neve zedek and Jaffa. Hatachana has lots of modern craft shops, restaurants, and designers shops it is revived within the authentic Historic British Train Station before Israel had been formally established.

Lovely location, lovely renovation. good restaurants, not the best, all quite pricey. Art galleries and craft shops all over and the beautiful track park.

I have visited the old Jaffa railway station a few years ago when the place was bustling with tourists and shops and restaurants, however May 2022, it is mostly deserted, probably as a result of COVID, I hope that it soon flourishes again.

This is Tell Aviv, the preservation done here is wonderful, nice places to sit, eat, drink, shop, but not crowded, i like being here

Parking is relatively cheap for Tel Aviv 26Nis/24 h. Prices es for food too expensive (Pizza 78 Nis). Nice Street musicians. My suggestion, bring your own food/drink and just sit there and enjoy the music

The site of an old train station and a soon-to-open new underground station, renovated as a visitor attraction, with restaurants, cafes, design shops and a few small exhibitions, all located in the old terminal buildings. Not very crowded, making it a nice break from the rest of the city. Also hosts occasional events and festivals. It's mostly outdoor so best not visited during the height of summer (unless you're there in the evening) or when it's raining. Local businesses do change so check in advance if you're looking for something specific. Worth a visit if you're in the area, which you probably will be as it's ideally located at the intersection of Jaffa, the Tel Aviv promenade and the Florentin and Neve Zedek neighborhoods. Will be interesting to see how it evolves when the new station finally opens.
