TRIVIA NIGHT. Thoroughly enjoyable evening at Great Lakes Brewery playing trivia, enjoying excellent grub and great beer. Everything in this event space was great. You’d never know all these food choices come from the truck attached to the side of the building. Food was excellent - the menu changes weekly.

For over 30 years great lakes has been a staple in the Toronto craft beer industry (one of the oldest in Toronto). Over the past few months they've been crushing out some amazing new England style IPAs. Definitely check out their 7 barrel and tank 10 series beers. Super delicious. They also have free local delivery (over $50) and pick up at the brewery.

Great beer and outstanding price on their Premium Lager. Local, craft brewed beer, pack of 24 TALL cans was an even better price than the sickness inducing macro brewed sludge (Budweiser, PBR, etc) that you have to pickup yourself from the filth pile they call "The Beer Store". I've deducted 1 star only because I had to meet their delivery driver at the ground floor of my building in the middle of a webcam meeting for work. And she wasn't even very polite about it to be honest. This would have been fine if there had been any mention about drivers not entering buildings during the ordering process or even afterwards. It only came up after the driver had arrived. Still... all things considered, well worth the order.

An extremely hospitable team is always welcoming every time we stop by, either on a planned outing or a spur of the moment "why not, we're in the area" pint. Great set of core beers, and a solid offering of seasonal brews. More and more events are taking place here, so always check their social media to see what kind of fun events are happening.

What a great place. A fantastic patio and quite spacious indoor service area as well. Great vibe. Happened to be a fundraiser the day we stopped in with deposit containers being collected and funds going to McMaster Children's hospital. Great beer of course! Excellent friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

The bottle shop vibe has really declined since COVID. I remember GLB staff being super accessible and patient and friendly. And maybe I'm getting older, but the staff feels much more pretentious and inpatient and snide. I'm sorry that I don't keep up with every new GLB release, but would appreciate a little guidance. Last few visits have left a real sour taste in my mouth, re: staff/customer service interaction, but the beer is still phenomenal value.

So many different great beers to choose from and always expanding! The go to destination in the city for Craft beer....will be nice when the patio is open again in the summer!

Great Lakes is like the popular kid on the Etobicoke brewery scene block. And rightfully so cuz they have some really delicious beers and an amazing variety to boot. My go to lately has been the Lake Effect IPA but yesterday they had a Hanlans Point Coconut Coffee Porter that blew some minds. It can get kinda crowded because they have such a small store front area... but it’s still worth it to get in there and grab a couple of flights ($10/flight) no food served here-just some chips or jerky(jerky was horrible) Best part of GLB is that you don’t have to stop at just trying what’s on Tap... you can try anything in their fridges TOO!! Wish more places allowed this.

Five stars for the staff alone. Amazing. Welcoming, kind, helpful, 100% on top of everything. The space is a bit unassuming when pulling up.. but turned out to have a great patio space and small ish but cozy taproom. The brews were fantastic. Tasty, balanced, just the right hoppiness. I'm a fan. Well done GLB.

Best brewery experience ever! This is a must go to spot! The variety is insane, and the prices are very good! Super fresh hop smells everywhere, and super friendly staff, all made our first visit here so special! Especially the guy that served us, was very interesting to talk to and clearly was passionate about craft beer like are! We had wanted to stop by here for years, we’re big fans of GLB beers! And finally we made the trip :) Thanks again!

We love this place. It’s our local brewery. Lately, they’ve come up with the Seven Barrel series, and all of the brews have been absolutely delicious. They’ve got a lovely tasting room. And an awesome patio. A must visit in Etobicoke!

The absolute best craft beer in Toronto is found here at Great Lakes. All their brews are excellent but I especially love Canuck, Burst and Octopus Wants to Fight. GLB are gamechangers in the craft beer world. Great merch too.

Easy to stop and shop after costco! Or even sit down for a pint, they have some rotating taps and always solid, friendly service by guys who not only sell the beer but drink it.

This place is awesome! Fantastic beer - you gotta try the ETOBICHOKER Belgian IPA while it lasts! Also, shout out to Benson who was not only knowledgeable on the beers, but provided samples, perfect descriptions and went out of his way to suggest places for us to check out in and around Toronto. You gotta stop here!

Stopped in to the brewery around lunch time and brought my own food. Tried several IPAs and was very pleased with the great flavors! Started talking with the bartender and really had a great experience. Friendly service, great beer, took some to go and continued to enjoy the IPAs in my hotel. Next time I am in Toronto I will be back.

GLB is the best bang for your buck when it comes to quality craft beer! Highly recommend stopping by for a pint and picking up some beers to go! They also deliver. My faves are the Canuck Pale Ale and the Octopus Wants to Fight IPA. Offered year-around!

Had a great visit here today. Got the flight which was a selection of delicious beers. Got to try some special ones like the Beard of Zeus. Absolutely loved it. Great people serving. There is parking available on site. Or it's a short walk from the buses on The Queensway.

Great little spot. Excellent beer, super friendly staff, fair prices and a nice patio. I just wish they had some sort of food options available. Although the table next to us had a Domino's pizza delivered lol so it's at least nice you can do that.

Excellent service and great selection of beer/alcoholic beverages and a neat little merch section too! They have a small patio as well to sample some beer too. Reasonably priced and delicious booze. We go out of our way to grab some cases every year!

Classic Toronto craft brewery keeps churning out great new brews (while keeping favourites alive). These are brewers who know what they're doing when when they get their hands on new hops and new yeasts. Great folks, good citizens, friendly staff. Consistently high quality. Their delivery service is quick and reliable. I've been a fan since the days of Crazy Canuck, and have fond memories of emptying shelves of their Winter Ale at my LCBO.

Best craft brewery in the whole province. Great staff who are so very knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to have a 12 0z taste and listen to live music on Friday nights. Support local!

Great Lakes has been our go-to beer delivery service since the start of the pandemic. They’ve got it down to a science. Such great protocols and some of our favourite beers around. And they’re such huge contributors to their community. Can’t wait to try their new lakeshore location!!

Was looking to get a keg for Canada Day weekend. GLB make it as easy as it gets. Pickup was easy and they helped load the keg. Others in our group had tried calling other local breweries and even the beer store and got no where. 100% would order with GLB again.

New review: Came by the place a couple more times since the last review. Haven't experienced any long waits. Servers are quick and efficient. Changing 2 stars to 5. Your brews are some of the best in Canada! Old review: Extremely slow service. Only one guy working the bar, the shop counter and the patio and it is a rush hour. 20 mins in and no one even came by the table yet. Beer is good though.

Most consistent and best IPAs in Toronto. Can’t go wrong with a beer from here. Location is a bit unideal for public transportation but they’ve done a good job working with what they got.

👍👍 The Chicken & Shrimp main (pasta) is amazing. One of my favourite dishes when eating out, the portion size is more than expected (I usually end up having left overs since it’s so much!). The chicken is high quality and shrimp as well. Although, the shrimp can be slightly fishy it’s tolerable and sti...

😐 It took really long for us to get our food. Meatball was too salty and pasta was wayyy overcooked. Mozzarella was great as always.
