πŸ‘ What a wonderful discovery. To the Village of Islington, well done. Not only are these murals beautiful to see, but learning the history behind each of them, which is captured on the plaque, makes it a fun, educational experience. Look for the map, which shows the location of each. People often mention murals, history,

The street is filled with very beautiful murals. Each of murals also explained with the description in its side. So people can understand about the mural. It's really interesting.

Nice experience. We parked in front of one of local bakery and purchased some Italian bakery. That probably counts parking fee.

An amazing "open museum": A section of Dundas St West, between Cordova Ave and Mabelle Ave, with large murals depicting episodes from the Islington Village history.

I lived in this neighborhood for 7 years and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the artist, John Kuna, work on a couple of murals each summer. The murals bring colour and good energy to this stretch of businesses. Best way to learn about the past. A must-see for everyone living in nearby neighborhoods like the Kingsway & BWV.

Beautiful 28 murals celebrating the area people’s history and today. East to find parking.

A great way to understand the history of the Islington village is through visiting their murals. Each mural tells a story of the lives of the people back then of how it shape the village to what it is now. A fun activity to enjoy with family and friends. Make sure to bring your camera and take good memories with it.

We thought this would be more in a group down some alleyways, but it was still pretty cool to see before we had to catch our flight at the Pearson airport.

Where do I begin? Booming traffic that reminds you of the hustle-bustle of everyday life and one step away from them are these murals that possess the power to transcend you to a time unbeknownst but which you can feel them in your soul. Be it the family that founded Islington or the snippet from a shoemaker's life- the murals reminds you why art exists. The urge to not miss any of them is overwhelming solely because of what you experience with each of these murals. Don't forget to visit the brooke coz I think it has healing powers #NotKiddingAtAll #AMustVisit Iam so fkn glad I chose to visit here🌻

Interesting murals with a plaque for each mural to explain a little bit history of Islington and the mural itself. A pretty neighborhood.

Colonial European centric past. Much improved by Arts Etobicoke augmented reality overlay by bipoc artists.
