Beautiful mansion located in the heart of Toulouse. The building has an amazing architecture and interesting details. It now serves as a museum, however it is currently closed due to renovations. A must-visit attraction for those interested in history and art.

Unfortunately when we got there it was closed.Aparently most if the places are closed on Mondays! but the place itself has a strong vibe if you are to think this has been built and still standing in great condition more then 500 years ago. We would have loved to visit the inside. Maybe next time

Closed for construction work nowadays. But still it generates a little WoW moment when stepping in from outside

A remarkable gallery, rarely crowded. An asrounding collection to find outside a 'major' gallery. A roomful of Bonnards! No less than 5 Cranachs... I could go on. The terrace cafe is a perfect spot for a nice lunch. Being France, the gallery closes for lunch. Just set yourself down, order something tasty, a good rose helps too.... then have a relaxed afternoon browsing some brilliant art. The building alone is pretty stunning, a 16th century merchant's place.

The five stars are for the Bonnard room, the last one in the museum and worth the entrance fee alone in my opinion - a truly exceptional collection of this artist's words. Before that there's a wide ranging collection with decent examples of renaissance art on the lower floor. Things come to life on the upper floor with an interesting collection on modernist paintings.

If you need a quiet place to collect your thoughts and view beautiful and creative art, look no further. This museum has three levels of European art was a nice and quiet getaway from the busy roads. My favorite paintings were by Henri Edmund Cross.

Small, well maintained collection, the highlights of which, three Dufy's and a superb Renoir drawing, were worth the visit on their own.

Fantastic building with interesting art collection. Worth a visit just for the architecture. Old house of one of the Capitoles.

A very private, exclusive collection of amazing works by known artists. It's not a typical museum, each room has elaborate furnishings and extravagant paintings. There are two floors, the top looking more like an actual museum (empty rooms with paintings). There's also a little passage outside that leads you to the second floor but you can enjoy the view before you move on. I don't remember how much it cost me but it was quite cheap for a student, and even if the museum is small it's worth taking an hour or two to appreciate how unique it is.

Beautiful gallery with some famous paintings by Degas, Picasso and others. In the time of my visit there was a temporary exhibition at the basement about a collection of death related art but there wasn't any english translation of the explanatory texts

Amazing architecture, it's one of the places to visit for the Saint Santiago's route.
