Great location - no more than ten minutes walk to Galata Tower. Right off the main street so lots of options for food/drink. Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I stayed as a solo female and felt very safe. The rooms were a good size and very clean. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Istanbul!

Firstly I will say for a 3 star hotel the place looks amazing. Very modern ! Most of the staff go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome which is fantastic. The location of the hotel is also great as just down the road is a taxi rank. However, please be VERY careful with the staff. Their willingness to make extra money on tourists is unmatched. And this is not in the typical way of wanting a tip for doing great work. This is them trying to catch you out, make costs up, and switching prices. It left a great trip with a sour taste in our mouths for sure.

We were staying for 3 nights The staff was very very friendly and helpful The location was very good, close to everything, Istaklil, metro station, shops and resturants. The restutant of the hotel is the best resturant in the area, highly recommended! We took the 'spuerier' room with a balcony and payed more for that but it was a room with a cigarette smell, few broken things and the view from the balcony was to the wall of the other building. The ventilation of the restorant was on this side so all the smoke smell every night was into our room and also a very distrapting noise from the ac (see attached picture) and ventilation of the resturant and other buildings. Ask for a room to the street side its better!

The rooms have so many problems we just stayed 2 days and booked another hotel. Manager Baran never returned our money back to us for our remaining days. It's very bad experience. Hotel needs major renovation. We stayed at 4th floor. Room and toilet fixtures were nearly broken. Bed was worn off and very uncomfortable. Duvet sets were dirty. Hotel rooms look good in pictures only, but the reality is worse. Only the reception floor is kept attractive. Water would stop in the middle of taking shower (this happens mostly in the morning), after the water goes, there comes weird sound of maybe water pump but pressure would still not gain. During the pump sound, bidet starts sprinkling water although its valve is still closed. Although the lady serving breakfast was very kind, but the quality of breakfast was very low. The cheese and tomatos seemed like they cut it 2 days ago. We asked for juice but they brought us sweetener-cancerogenous mixed with water.

Overall Experience: Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights (Aug 2022) on our first ever visit to Istanbul. Has a great location being barely a 30 second walk from Istiklal street. Would definitely recommend and consider staying here again! Safe, clean, friendly place and great value for money!

The most familial hotel I ever stayed! The staff is super super sweet! Especially Baran and the girl with the curls. They helped us with everything, from finding a tailor, to the hotspots of Istanbul and even the best foodspots! The location is very central, Istikal street is literally around the corner. The hotelrooms are perfect for a citytrip, also it is a very very clean hotel, which I can always appreciate. If you like boutique hotels, give this one a go.Last but not least one of the best restaurants is next door ! So you should defenitely go there!

Fantastic island of serenity in a chaotic city. While Istanbul was a mixed bag, having to deal with cops trying to close down access to Istiklal or scammy taxi drivers pretending I didn't give them enough money, the Westist Hotel had amazing staff, great amenities, and a delicious Turkish breakfast at the adjacent restaurant. They even helped me arrange for a private car back to the airport. Would recommend absolutely. Just make sure to use public transit when possible (and don't stay on a Sunday in June, to avoid dealing with transit closures and police barricades).

Our experience in the Westist Hotel was rather bad. Some of the reasons below - They offered to arrange a private transfer from the airport to the hotel, which they said it was a ‘VIP luxury van’. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a regular van to pick us up and had to share it with someone we didn’t know. The price was much higher than a regular cab (and the service probably worse!) - When we arrived they didn’t help us to take up our luggage to reception - They called our room at 8:00 AM and woke us up for no reason - Breakfast was terrible and there was a black cat jumping on the tables, chairs, etc. Staff were having breakfast themselves instead of serving us properly - Rooms are way smaller than in the pictures and the soundproofing is very bad, it seemed like the windows were open. Super noisy! - They say they offer ‘same-day’ laundry service but instead we had to wait 2 days to get back a pair of pants... and it was extremely expensive - 15€ to clean a pair of pants and they don’t even deliver it on time! - They also say they offer city tours and certified guides but when we asked them to help us arrange a Bosphorus tour they say they didn’t know anyone and in two occasions they couldn’t even help us find a cab - Amex is not accepted Conclusion: Impossible to recommend this hotel to anyone!

The westist hotel and spa, is a little, comfortable, modern looking and cozy hotel in a little alley in the heart of Isteklal street. A very great location if you want to access to shopping centers in famous Isteklal street . The very friendly and knowledgeable staff who speak great English makes the stay easy and the very clean and very modernly designed with an aromatic scent, make your stay enjoyable. I was traveling alone from Canada and honestly the staff made me feel like home and felt really safe. Special thanks to Kaan for the on time emailing back and forth that made my reservation easy and also to the lovely receptionist Sinem who went above and beyond every day and gave me sincere and useful tips as how to manage my everyday sightseeing. I thank everyone of the staff and the management who made my stay so memorable and enjoyable. Definitely my first choice again . Highly recommended if you are looking for a little hotel which feels like home.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Westist Hotel & Spa in Taksim, Istanbul, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I and my family walked in, WE were impressed by the elegant and modern decor of the hotel's lobby. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home and also helping us finding a good hospital right away, beacuse we needed to. The rooms we stayed in was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night of my stay. The room also had a great view of the surrounding area, and I enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle of Taksim from the comfort of my room. Finally, I have to mention the hotel's location, which is unbeatable. The Westist Hotel & Spa is located right in the heart of Taksim, within walking distance of some of Istanbul's best restaurants, shopping, and cultural attractions. The hotel is also conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, I would highly recommend The Westist Hotel & Spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Istanbul. From the beautiful rooms and spa facilities to the prime location, this hotel truly has it all. Thank you, The Westist Hotel & Spa, for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here just this past June. This experience was pleasant. Front desk staff members were extremely friendly and nice, they spoke English. I am very much into staying at boutique hotels, looking for a fresh new experience. The only knock I had was that the amenities the hotel offers to pay for, such as snacks and beverages in the room for fees were not there, and I didn’t notice until the last day. All I had to do was tell the front desk staff and they did not debit my credit card. This is a very busy area so there is a chance working crews will be doing construction outside the hotel in the surrounding area. When you check in you will be offered maps showing you how to commute throughout the city on the local transit system. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was great. You also have a store within 20 feet of the hotel as well as taxis services. I do like to stay in some shape as I feed my face but they did not have a gym, which the walking made up for this.

Stayed there for 2 nights and left satisfied. Location is prime - next to Istiklal street. The room was clean but the best thing was service. Receptionists Kaan and Sinem were so professional. Special thanks to Sinem for helping us to call the airport and sort out our baggage deposit issues (she kept calling for a day to get us answers)! That’s what I call exceptional service “above and beyond”☺️

Where do I start… It was my first time in Istanbul and I have read many horrid reviews of hotel stays in the vicinity. I came across Westist, and I was blown away with the great reviews of the hotel. As I booked with them, I was quickly prompted over WhatsApp from their business account by their employee Sinem . From organizing the details, to arriving at the hotel, it was easy to communicate with her. Sinem’s hospitality shown from the very first day, as she had upgraded my room free of cost, and made sure to always check in on me to ensure I was satisfied throughout the duration of the stay! Sinem was appropriately friendly and recommended many places for me to see while in Istanbul! Thank you for being awesome!! Additionally, the hotel itself is new and EXTREMELY clean. This was a bonus for a clean freak like me! It was quiet and was in a great location (It is located by Istiklal street which is a bonus). Very friendly and helpful staff which you cannot complain!!! Be sure to check out the spa while you’re there!!! Thank you Westist for making my trip to Istanbul that much more enjoyable!! I have no complaints!! :)

I highly recommend this place in terms of the location, cleanliness, and customer service. It's within walking distance of many attractions and food places. I also have to say that their receptionists are so friendly and helped a lot with our needs.

Clean, cozy and great staff. Were very helpful. Location is great for touristic needs! Room was comfy and for a place that is in the middle of a party area (good for those looking for parties) it was not too loud and was able to get rest.

I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. The hotel is very close to a variety of restaurants and shopping around Isteghlal St. and Taghsim Square. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with various local items. The staff were most helpful in every aspect of my stay. I had a complication with my flight to Yerevan, where the manager patiently worked with me to resolve it. Staying in Westist will make your trip to Istanbul more delightful!

Benefits: - The room was always clean. The housekeeping staff was very polite and friendly - Great location. There are lots of shops and places to eat nearby. The hotel is also close to an underground station. Taksim Square is a 15-20 minute walk from where you can get anywhere you want - The hotel is quiet because it is on a remote small street - The bathroom is nice and clean. There were no problems with the water - Beautiful interior - Comfortable bed and bed linen - There were slippers in the room Drawbacks: - Tiny rooms. Even in the superior room, it was cramped for two persons. There is no space at all if you open the suitcase - Unfriendly staff at the reception. They did not help us with the route to the attractions. Also, they brought a plate to our room only after the third request. On the early departure morning, they refused to serve breakfast for takeaway. We also had problems printing tickets at the reception desk, as the staff were clearly unhappy with our request - Very poor soundproofing between rooms. You can hear everything going on in the hall and nearby rooms. So, it was difficult for us to get a good quality sleep Overall, I can recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again next time
