Instead of providing garden suit I’ve booked, they made me and my family wait 2h without saying that they preparing room above the reception instead. Walked away under rain, felt cheated, they don’t manage bookings properly and getting either overbooked or simply cheating the guests.

Popped in on my way back to my villa. I only wanted a drink as it was late and can highly recommend the 'bananarama' frozen coffee - double espresso with vanilla syrup, banana and cream. The service was slow (it wasn't busy) and it took 15 minutes for the drink to arrive... which was tricky being a solo traveller trying to entertain myself while waiting. But, the staff were friendly and polite and they did apologise for the delay. Get a seat at the front of the restaurant and look at the view of the paddy field while watching the world go by. Menu is more western than Indonesian, but haven't sampled the food to comment on the quality.

We ate at the restaurant. The food was good but what was served as a main dish was extremely little and more like a starter, especially for the price. Probably not the case for all dishes but for the tofu sate. Staff is friendly.

Luv Nicks Pension i have been staying here for a few years now and each time i return it's like coming home. This family run hotel takes pride in making you feel at home. The staff are friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast is excellent with a range of choices. The lunch and dinner menu is extensive. The place is set amongst lush greenery and ricefields the dining area overlooks ricefields😊

Not for breakfast! We came Nick's Pension only for breakfast and it was not so good. Example there was ketchup and mayonnaise (for hamburger) on top of the salad. Egg was cold. Portion was small and the price was still high. Banana pancake was okay but not amazing.

Nick's Pension provides a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests seeking a relaxed stay. The rooms are well-maintained, offering a cozy atmosphere with thoughtful amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. However, the property could benefit from some modern updates to enhance overall appeal. Despite this, Nick's Pension is a decent choice for those looking for budget-friendly accommodation with a personal touch.

Nick's Pension is at the centre of Ubud. There are pubs, cafes and happening places at a walking distance. The cleanliness is immaculate. Rooms are artistic. Restaurant food is delicious. The massage at the spa was woww!! Best of all are the people. Humble and friendly. They have made this resort the best in Ubud.

Went here for dinner last night it was so delicious. We had balineese tacos for appetizers My daughter has the surf and turf, wife had the quesadilla and I had the triple beef burger. Great place to watch the sunset and have drinks and dinner. At 730pm there is a small dance show.

We are here for breakfast and it was so good we made sure to return that same evening for dinner. They had a good selection of vegetarian options plenty of drinks and mixed smoothies. The presentation of the food was really colourful and the service by the staff was excellent. Our 16 month old son was welcomed by everyone

Loved our stay of 3 nights. Wanted to stay longer but was fully booked. Had our own little area above the office. Was really nice with a 4 posted bed, balcony overlooking the pool, rice paddies, restaurant area and entrance way. Very very quite.

We had a lovely time staying at Nick's Pension in early 2021. It's in a prime location in central Ubud, just be advised that the road is a bit narrow but you could still bring a car to the property. We got a very cheap price for the stay so we managed our expectations for breakfast (a modest "nasi bungkus") and lack of staff around, but everyone was really pleasant and helpful. We basically had the property and the pool to ourselves. Hopefully we could visit Nick's Pension again and get the full experience and try the restaurant.

Lovely get away private room with peaceful views of the rice fields, with hospitable staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, the mosquito net helped during sleep. The breakfast options were amazing with multiple choices ranging from a traditional Western breakfast to Indonesian. Not much I disliked except for the poor Wifi connection. I work from my laptop and often found myself to hotspot of my phone for data. But everything else was superb!

Great place to stay if going to Ubud! Location is perfect! About a 15-20 min walk to Monkey Forrest and perfectly centralized. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Only downside is they don't have irons for ironing your clothes. I will definitely stay here again.

Ate at the restaurant, absolutely terrible service, food way below average, prices way above average, dancers were gorgeous, but other than that our whole experience was more than disappointing, will never come back or recommend to anyone!!!

Bed was creaking with every move. Hard times to find sleep. Mold in the room. Great pick-up service from the airport!

What a great place to stay. We had the room overlooking the rice paddy fields simply stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We recommend using the hotel's driver as they customized the day out around what we wanted to do and we had the car to ourselves. The driver was also very knowledgeable about the local people, customs and arts in each area. Make sure you go to the Yan Yan silver factory and outlet shop were the prices were half of some of the other places we looked at.

Poor. I stay in the upper room, the water did not flows until guests in the lower room finished bathing. So i use wastafel behind front office just to wash my face. The room is below standard, with foam mattrass (i expected spring bed).

Beautiful, clean and spacious room, in a quieter part of town so definitely the place to go if you’re looking to relax! The staff were so friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed a chill by the pool. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site for some great local food

A great little hotel. It has a shortcut over a beautiful bridge directly to monkey first BV road making the location great. Rooms were comfortable and it was set in stone beautiful and natural gardens. The breakfast was a little hit and miss, but on the whole it is a great hotel.

Nick’s Pension is very cozy and the staff are very friendly. The service is amazing, the hotel is clean and well organized and is very well located as is close to the center and many shops and restaurants. We are staying in room 401 which is very spacious and has a beautiful view. The breakfast is good!!!

Love this resort! Great to spend holidays with family, close to downtown and secret bridge on the back of resort can get you in no time to monkey forest. Clean and neat, staff very helpful and always ready to assist in any matters.

While the place was really good, nice territory and clean room, there were few things which where upsetting. The first one - worn off sheets and smelly pillows. The second - higher prices for bike or taxi than you would find in any other place or simply by asking next door.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms/villas with a forest on one side, an actual paddy field in the middle and a small river in between! Location is very nice as well, close to shopping areas and a couple of clubs a short ride away. Hospitality is classic Bali. Coming from India, we found this to be exceptional value, with no compromise on quality. If we ever return to Ubud, this is on top of my list so I can recommend, no reservations.

The restaurant fronting Jalan Bisma needs to serously rethink its music. Appalling, American anthemic music from 15yrs ago ,played at hugh volume is not conducive to a relaxed meal

We stayed here for 5 nights. Awesome place near ubud market, ridge walk, sacred monkey forest etc. The breakfast was good and also nice restaurants nearby if you want to try other cuisines. The property is well maintained and full of greens. I’ll recommend this for anyone looking to enjoy the nature, experience a Balinese way of living and best of all great place to rest.

Amazing staff and very very delicious food! We had the fish belado, sate ayam, chicken spring roll, es jeruk, es teh and coconut juice. The belado sauce was right on point. This is my new fav restaurant in Ubud!

A calm and quiet place right in the middle of Ubud Centre. Surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of a stream flowing through the property. It was one of the best accommodations in Bali that we have stayed at. We came back to stay here for the second time in 2 weeks time and we highly recommend it. The owner Yande and his team are amazing and always ready to assist you with anything you need. His Driver Chokde is really funny and makes your journey fun. Thank you Nick’s Pension for making our stay so good.
