I'll never stay at a regular hotel again .I just met the nicest people here. The grandfather and the grandson at this beautiful traditional Balinese homestay and they invited us to the Kecak dance tonight, he is in the gamelan orchestra and invited us to sit up front. The rooms are spacious and very clean and I think brand new..the grandson works at a five-star hotel and based his accommodations and accoutrements on that. the beds are to die for....

We stayed here for 5 days and we loved it . Nice place feeling like one of the family , Family business and all of them are the kindest people you can meet and help you with all your needs , as a driver and as a guide the owner is super friendly and without a doubt you will love them too.

Agung is such a incredible friendly and polite guy. He is super engaged to offer you the best stay you can have. Always with an smile and with good energy. The rooms are super comfortable and it’s just beautiful. The place is a little bit more outside, but in a wonderful area. We were super happy about it because we would never seen this beautiful area if not staying here. With motorcycle you are in less then 5 minutes in the Center, but don’t miss to walk around there or to walk to the Center. It’s just 25 min walk and very very awesome and calm. Thank you very much Agung for everything. He also makes a delicious breakfast with everything what you need.

Not really worth recommending. The place is right in the middle of Ubud so I guess that is why people choose it but it smelt sooo bad in the whole apartment. Every room has open window for the whole day prior to a new guest coming so it is bearable but after few hours and closing the door/window, it is awful. It is not a nice stay if the smell is so bad and you need to turn on an aircon for a bit just to be able to enter. Also, the breakfast was really bad (worst banana pancake on Bali), the lady was a bit pushy, she demanded that we tell her when and what we want to eat 24h beforehand. You could feel some kind of dishonesty/fakeness with her, so we didn't actually feel welcome there.

Best place in Ubud, the staff is really friendly, beautiful place , we loved our 3 nights here.

This place was a little bit confusing and hard to find because there were no obvious sign to this place. I got the room downstairs and it is amazing. It felt like a private house because there were no neighboring rooms next to me and I feel like we can always go out from this place without being observed with the other guests. For those who are looking forward to meet new people, I would recommend you to specifically ask for the room upstairs. The hosts are really kind and helpful.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. The room was very nice. It had a balcony and good toilet and shower. Everything was super clean and we had room service every day. I really recommend to come to the Gusti Putu Oka Homestay!

Stayed here for 2 nights. This guest house is owned and managed by Pak Agung, who is very friendly. We feel like we are coming to our familys place. The room is clean with nice balcony overlooking a tukad (river). Pak Agung explain us about the small pura on tje river.

Very friendly family. Top floor room exceptionally quiet (amazing for a central location). Room was big, simple and clean with a small balcony looking onto peaceful bamboo wood. Owner was very helpful when I wanted to change dates. Wifi Aircon and hot shower all good. Highly recommended! Very good value for money. Parking for motorbike downstairs is a bit limited.

Could not more highly recommend staying here. The owners are some of the kindest people. They genuinely care that you have a good stay. Any time I needed anything they were immediately there to help. The hotel was also always so clean and well kept.

Amazing family to stay with, they are very kind and even took the time to come introduce themselves and welcome us even though they were not here when we arrived.

Close to main attractions in Ubud. Large and clean rooms. Very friendly stuff. Good breakfast included. Quiet place for stay, it is a little bit aside from the main road

I absolutely loved it! This was by far THE best homestay in Bali and Lombok! Spotlessly clean, great shower, fantastic communal breezy undercover area with massive tables, great breakfast! My favorite was the banana pancake. It is such a delicate thin crepe with grilled banana inside with some brown sugar and toasted coconut and some honey on top. Seriously, everyone gives you banana pancakes for breakfast, but this were the best I had in Indonesia! The rest of the food was delicious too. The family was so lovely. I was so lucky and caught the owners for a chat. I am definitely coming back when I'm in Ubud!

When I finally got to this place, i was sick because of long train rides in Java, a couple of sleepless nights, a night hike to the Ijen crater under the rain... The only thing I asked it was a dry, clean bad and a cup of hot water. The lady brought for me a hot ginger tea with lemon and honey...she was very nice. One could have very interesting talks with her about culture, religion, history, etc. Our balcony was a heavenly spot: by night we could hear the birds, leaves and the river. We truly loved our staying here.
