Baroi Ray is a historical building in Tehran that dates back to 6000 years ago and the Medes period. The city of Re was destroyed by an earthquake and then Seleucus, the first successor of Alexander, rebuilt it from scratch. Barui Ray is a defensive wall that covered the whole city during the Parthian rule, and today only about three kilometers of the remains of this wall, part of which is located on the Cheshme Ali rock, remain. This rampart has an area of ā€‹ā€‹about 1800 x 2500 meters and is comparable to the ramparts of many similar military cities.

Rey CastleĀ was an ancient castle or defensive wall, located inĀ Cheshmeh-Ali, south ofĀ TehranĀ and north ofĀ Rey. The castle is located above theĀ Fath Ali shah inscriptionĀ and dates back to 4000 BC in theĀ Medes empire. It is assumed that the Castle was ruined by anĀ earthquakeĀ and thatĀ Seleucus I NicatorĀ rebuilt it.

The Ruins of a castle or defensive wall dating back to 4000 BC. It is worth a visit if you are in southern Tehran.
