The food lives up to the rating. First, the appreciation goes to the layout. It’s quiet and calm, yet doesn’t try to be overly fancy and has enough space between the tables you feel you can have a conversation with your guests without disturbing anyone. The food is definitely on point, modern and flavorful without becoming complex. The menu is short but varied, and they definitely have ranges of sizes. The burgers will fill up the hungriest of us, but the 6 tortellini could feel like a side dish to some big eaters. The revisited tiramisu is pretty delicious too. Highly recommended.

What an exceptional meal! The ambience, food and service were on point. This was the best meal in Venice by far. We lucked out and got a table by walking in but I’d recommend making a reservation as it was busy!

This is the best restaurant i have experienced after visiting Venice 6 times. The vibe is comfortable, the service is great and super friendly, and the most important, the food is amazing. I will definitely revisit this restaurant next time. (Highly recommend the steak)

AMAZING FOOD AND EVEN MORE AMAZING STAFF. Thank you for accommodating these two vegans! Vegan eating in Venice: come here! The chickpea curry and the cauliflower burgers are SO GOOD! The bread is vegan and the tomato soup was offered as a complimentary dish and was to die for. We are forever grateful for this gem in a city where eating vegan was not so easy. Thank you! ❤️

Excellent service, exceptionally delicious food. Especially the octopus was amazing! Wouldn’t be surprised if they get their first Michelin soon. One of the best addresses in Venice. Will come again.

Really enjoyed my meal at Il Refettorio, every dish was really delicious and eye pleasing. The waiters were helpful and made the night an enjoyable experience. Also their Tiramisu is out of this world! Thank you!

Super friendly staff. The place is owned by the awesome Venetian bakery chain, Majer. So their coffee and desserts are great. I had dinner. Not inventive, but great execution. Prices are fair. Ambience is modern and chic. I’ve returned multiple times for coffee and wine. Will return again for dinner. Note, as of September, they haven’t brought tables out

Definitely a place I would recommend and go back! The food was very tasty, I loved the amatriciana pasta and the tiramisu! The service was on point, they speak English and French. You can have higher quality food and service there for the same price as some touristic restaurants.

A modern Italian restaurant that seeks to provide a menu with new and creative options in addition to variations of more classic dishes. Some of the dishes are great, but others just don't seem to hit the mark. It's to be expected with a place trying new things. The location is beautiful and the staff are very friendly, but given the price it could be a bit tighter.

Amazing place! Everything is great about it, starting from very ind and friendly staff, through interior decor, and to an amazing food! Between courses they’re offered small kind of starters, like cheeseball with sauce, or fish all, Or watermelon sorbet after main course, and everything was amazingly tasty, im not an expert in food, but feels like I’ve became there, because everything felt so fresh, so full of taste, so natural. Highly recommend!

Had a really great dinner here in September 2023. The server was incredibly helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. The space itself is beautiful, but check directions ahead of time as it is certainly tucked away.

The menu attracted me initially. It had many choices and was very accommodating. Once I arrived there, I was even more impressed. The waiter took extra care in understanding what I could eat making recommendations that not only were ok for me to eat, but would lead to a great food experience. The recommendations were spot on. They paired the food with terrific wines. They even brought out a complimentary appetizer just because they thought I'd like it. This place is out is the way of the ordinary tourist places. We were eating with locals in a small intimate dining room. I'd recommend this place to anyone going to Venice.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! From the start, the restaurant is sexy! From there, the service was spectacular! The wine list was great. The best, and most important, part was the food which was phenomenal! The best meal we had on our entire trip and one of the top 5 meals we’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Don’t skip out on this place!

The best food we have eaten in Venice over a five day trip. The interior is modern and intimate and the staff are extremely informative with recommendations for food and wine. We had a lovely bottle of Lazar Rose. Recommend the scallops to start served with shrimp crisps. Octopus for main is up there with one of the best plates of food I’ve ever eaten. Make sure to go here if you’re in Venice!

From the start, it felt like our waiter was not happy with our presence. He looked very annoyed whenever we asked him for something, but seemed to be fine with other tables. For context, the two of us in our party are Indian, so not sure if that had something to do with it. All that aside, the ambience seemed good, which is what brought us in in the first place. It was our last night in Venice and we wanted Italian food. This place is more Italian fusion. Out of the few vegetarian options available, we chose the fresh egg pasta spaghetti with pumpkin and the curried chickpea balls. We were first brought a mini appetizer on the house, a grilled artichoke, whose plate was deceivingly warm because the actual artichoke was cold. Then our entrees came. The curried chickpea balls had a flavorful sauce, but the spaghetti could have used some more spice. Also on the pricey side compared to other places we went in Venice. Overall, an okay experience, but we did not feel welcome.

Excellent dinner with attentive (English speaking) service. Interesting wine list, with some local choices. Pasta delicioso 💯 We stumbled upon it while wandering around! Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, high quality, rich test and great service ! Very good options also for vegetarians. The restaurant itself modern decorated. Once you in Venice you must go there, the joy is guaranteed!

I had an amazing experience here during my short stay in Venice from America. I have a dairy allergy and the staff was so accommodating easily modifying their diverse menu. The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and had a rare feeling of being both classic and modern. I loved it! Would recommend to anyone.

Hidden gem ~ If you can only have 1 meal in Venice! Waaaay better than Wisteria (Michelin 1 Star). Wish you a great success very soon!

👍👍 The best pizza I’ve ever eaten & my family too. It’s all about the pizza base - they mastered it. 😍 Price is very reasonable. Great ambience. Long queues so worth booking for dinner. Walk-in for lunch time is possible though. Back to the pizza base, it’s so fluffy & airy. Thin & crispy in the mid...
