I was referred to the clinic of Dr. Anthony Davies to be our family doctor, but a few days before the appointment we received a notice that it would no longer be him but another doctor Dr. Megan Smith, who was very attentive, attended to us a few times, but after returning to the clinic to present the exams that had been requested, I had a surprise to Dr. Megan was no longer part of the Medical Clinic of Dr. Davies. And immediately I asked the receptionist there were two, because they didn't tell us that we no longer had a family doctor and the answer was short and rude yes she returned to Australia, I asked if they would have another family doctor for us and the answer was don't look for another doctor somewhere else . That simple And now I don't know how to proceed because Dr. Megan had passed a Heart exam due to high blood pressure and chest pains. In short, there is a lack of professionalism and respect for the patients of this Clinic.

I am upset that the doctor had no clue why we were meeting. I had something horrible happen to me on June 13. The nurse practitioner told me that she will get the doctor to call the hospital to get me in faster and I waited 5 hours for them to tell me my horrible news but the nurse practitioner knew and could of told me over the phone so I didn’t worry or have to wait 5 hours in emergency at grand river. Doctor smith ( who is not my doctor) called me to say how sorry she was and if I needed anything to call her! Nothing from Davies for 2 months. And when I called to make an appointment the nurse practitioner didn’t say anything to me beside he will call you. She could see my records and she still had nothing to say. I am very upset with my experience coming into the office and the nurse practitioner is racing her voice at someone in front of me and she stops and is rude to me bc I am waiting their to sine in. If you can’t keep a calm and inviting environment why do you think so many people are yelling or racing their voices back at you! I wish I could use doctor smith she is very calm and cares for her patience.

Anthony Davies is the worst medical practitioner I have ever come across I tried to give him the benefit of doubt upon my first meeting with him, but my initial feeling were correct He has terrible bedside manners, doesn't listen to patients and doesn't care about patient needs, if you question anything he will drop you as a patient. I will be filing a complaint with the CPSO. Good luck with this guy, find a new Dr you can

Please go to this clinic only at your detriment. I was appalled at how I was treated here. Juliana at the reception has zero customer/patient service skills and is extremely rude. Dr. Davies? I have no words to explain his attitude. I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my time going to this clinic. It’s really a shame. If you want to feel seen or heard, please don’t go to this clinic. If I could give zero stars, I would. Everyone is deserving of better medical professionals than what this clinic apparently has to offer.

I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience at the "meet and greet" I had recently. I was referred from Health Care Connect and the receptionist was lovely - called me and booked me into an appointment. I did receive a confirmation from the office about the appointment but no reminder, and after sending an email requesting the address (nothing was sent to me otherwise) I had to look up the Dr.s name and thier address in Google Maps to even know where I was going (having a signature in response would be the LEAST they could do). Once there, meeting the Dr. he started into his speil about how they are part of a network of Dr's that offer emergency clicnic and that they insisted I use ONLY thier emergency clinic. SAY WHAT??? I have never come across this EVER in the Canadian Medical System (I am a recent arrival back from living overseas thus the search for a GP). He then proceeded to argue with me about the purpose of the visit and the fact that I asked him a question, when he asked me IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS. I would have at that point been willing to book the next appointment but he then continued to manspain to me about what can and cant be done (I had some blood results from earlier this summer that I was interested in exploring), and he continued to manspain to me further about what I can or cant ask or do. I considerately asked that we start back from the beginning and start the conversation again, but it was no use at that point. Im not interested in having a GP that is combative, doesnt listen, and is concerned more about booking appointments than helping patients. This is just my experience. I left mid appointment, as it was clear that this is not the physician I am looking for. Communication seems to be a ongoing issue with this clinic as apparent with the previous Google Reviews (I was willing to overlook these as many Google reviews can be innacurate and very biased) and give it a chance. It was clearly a waste of mine and his time. He clearly needs some assistance with his bedside manner, and in his communication with patients and I am guessing as to why his practice needs more patients. Coming from a service background, I was diappointed from the first contact on. I hope this can be a learning and growing experience for his practice and maybe spend more time on the patients than expounding the virtues of being a Medical Teaching Practice. I shudder to think of the experience they're getting if its anything like what I experienced.

I arrived at my scheduled 4:30 appointment on Wednesday July 20th to find no one at reception to greet me or take my name. If you are going to schedule appointments there should be someone there to greet patients. I find the administration of this office very poor. Why are there no reminder phone calls the day before? My appointment was rescheduled twice (bad enough) and when I arrived, I was told by Dr. Davies (after a 20 minute wait) that I was not on his appointment schedule. He looked and informed me that I had missed an appointment for the previous day. This is clearly an error on the administration side as I was very careful to write down the date and time of my rescheduled appointment. Dr Davies saw me regardless and I was happy with the care I did receive. Jeff Ford

All the staff are very friendly and professional. He accepted my wife as a patient, when most would have probably turned her away. Feel very fortunate to have as my wife's new Doctor. Nothing but positive things to say about our experiences, if still accepting new patients, I highly recommend.

I truly think Dr. Davis is an awesome doctor. He really listens to your concerns and doesn't rush your appointment time. He answers all your questions accurately and refers you to the right doctor accordingly. His office staff could be a little more patient.

In follow up to my ear infection incidence Dr. Davies contacted me and apologized for his office handling of my infection and pain. Miscommunication was a majour issue and it is kind of like the telephone game we use to play as kids when one whispers in your ear a message and after it goes down the line the message gets very garbled and changed. Dr Davies called and apologized for how I was misunderstood in how serious my infection was. He always has open appointments for same day emergencies but I was 4 hours away at my cottage which was not conveyed and I fell through the cracks as do many in the very busy practices of health care. He has called to follow up on my better health and greatly apologetic. I knew this was not the normal doctor Davies I had always known as a very compassionate man. I thank him for his concern and plan to return for my regular follow up appointments. Mistakes happen and Dr. Davies has proven that he is humble enough to admitting his failures and has renewed my faith and trust to be the best doctor he can. If you look at his credentials he is very well educated and knowledgeable so do not let this one complaint define the man he is- compassionate, humble and intellectually astute to know how to respond when things go wrong. He is still No. 1 in my books

Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and has a significant positive attitude and personality. Mostly punctuation and listens attentively. I am very fortunate to have him as my family physician. I can proudly say that I am in capable hands.
