This costs money and isn't free, however, the walk isn't too long and we found some steps going up making it an easy climb to the top.

👍👍 It was my first time hiking ever yesterday and what an experience!!! It was absolutely beautiful, so calm and serene. The stepping stones were so worth seeing and the entire area was just breathtaking. Well worth a visit if you're in the area!

Easy access via the nearby path, and easy parking on local roads that have plenty of laybys- ( B5056) turn off the A515 at the Bentley Brook, and keep going until you find the layby in your right nearest the Rocks.

Stanage Pole

👍 Stanage Pole is a landmark on Hallam Moors near to Stanage Edge. At 438 metres (1,437 feet) height, it marks the border between Derbyshire and South Yorkshire and can be seen for several miles around. Apparently a pole has stood on the site since at least 1550.
