Food was okay, but overpriced. The staff is very friendly, location is fancy but with loud music.

recently dined at here and while I found the food to be delicious, I was disappointed with the slow service and unfriendly demeanor of the waitstaff. While the food was certainly a highlight of the meal, the slow service and lack of friendliness from the waiters detracted from the overall experience

I had the best server ever today in Amsterdam. I think his name is Simon, I’m not sure though. I had dinner with my boyfriend here after work and ordered a veggie burger. I wanted to add cheese to my burger, but the cook couldn’t accommodate my request, maybe because it was too busy, but I didn’t care in the end because of Simons amazing service. Don’t ever let this guy go, he’s super kind, empathic and has a very positive vibe. We really enjoyed his service. It was so busy and he really handled everything so quickly and positively. I only give 5 stars only on his behalf and will definitely come back. 😄🍻

We wanted a burger and they killed it. Only one available. Double patty, crispy ham, perfect lettuce, little pickle chunks, secret sauce, fresh bun. And a great bar. Go here.

It was truly one of the best meals I have ever had anywhere in the world. This is one of the planet's best restaurants. I can't wait to return to Frankfurt in the spring and try the spring tasting.

In conclusion, it has potential but food has nothing special and it’s too expensive. Waiters don’t care and are not even able to remember if you don’t speak Dutch. The place is nice to sit. Beautiful environment. The is a bit weird with no specific theme. You can have a variety of dishes from burgers to Vietnamese or Dutch croquettes. I went 3 times and the service is extremely slow. More than 25’ to get their noon combo when we are maximum 3 tables in the room. The portions are very small. 9.5€ for 1 croquette, a slice of bread and half a glass (yes a glass) of soup is excessive. We asked a couple of time their “home made” apple pie but it was very bad. Wrongly cooked and super soggy on the bottom. Seemed like the pie was from several days ago.

First time eating there and not just drinking. Loved the burgers and gambas pasta. The watermelon cocktail is a must 🥰

Really bad service. - Had to go to the bar every time we wanted a drink. - had to ask multiple times for the dish of the day, when we finally had an answer, two of us ordered that this. Only to find out 10 minutes later, that they informed us with the wrong dish. - 30 minutes after we finished eating i ask to take our plates, but again 15 minutes later we moved to another table because they did not pick it up. You might think, they're understaffed and it was busy. Well this was not the case and the staff was just arrogant and lazy.

The service is super friendly and fluent in english. The food was truely amazing. We did not expect this level of quality. Definitely a recommendation!

It’s a nice place but the service and food are terrible.. we waited 2h for the food and everything was tasteless.. the cabbage was not cooked we had to send it back.. the chicken was basically only bones… basically NO. Just don’t eat there

We loved the place ! The steak sandwich and burger were a hit ! We went by around 2 pm on a Saturday and it was nice and fast service and they were super nice with us. Drinks and snacks are perfect as well. It is a place for sure I’m planning to come back 🧡🤍💙

So so I’d say. The food was okay but the service was very slow and a bit disorganised. It’s also quite noisy. Nevertheless it’s an okay place for a drink or a dinner if you’re in the neighbourhood.

My husband and I went here for a late dinner. And wow the service was amazing. Very friendly staff and also fluent in English. The food was superb. My husband actually said it was the best burger he had ever eaten. I had seabass which was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place.

I visited the cafe with my friend to have dinner at Cafe de Walvis. Staff is very friendly and food was nice. We wish there were more vegan options on the menu. Tea was also good, atmosphere cozy and remember that having hot chocolate with cream is a treat at the cafe, a must try! Will defenitely visit the cafe again and looking forward to more vegan options on the menu.

Alright bar. Nice service, food’s okay - burgers great. Opening hours are incorrect; I rehearse / do shows in the neighborhood and they are never open after midnight on Sunday & Monday.

Fresh, delicious food and excellent service. Great place for lunch, dinner or a drink. Highly recommended.
