So good! So relaxing!! Go during the week as the weekend is so crowded that you actually have to queue up on the hill!! We went on a Wednesday and was great but Friday evening was so packed… didn’t enjoyed it as much when you don’t have space. Visit it during the week if you can 😊

Fantastic waterfall up at the carpatian mountains, the water fall is activ and is very nic to stop-by, get the views around, take some photos. There are local sellers who sell thier own products like all kind of local cheese and salami,and honey, you can taste before you buy. The view from above is amazing no matter where you look and its a fantastic place to stop on your way up to the top of the hill or on your way down, don"t miss it ! October 2023

Beautiful waterfall, gorgeous view in the area. We also found a stand with delicious local produce (cheese and wild game sausages and delicatessen).

Great waterfall, but there is nowhere to park. There is a sideroad nearby but we needed to stand on the road to view the waterfall which can be dangerous. Beautiful nonetheless.

Nothing too spectacular as far as waterfalls go, but the view! Omg the view. It's on the Transfăgărășan road, and there's plenty of space to stop as you're driving down. There's some stands there selling artisan products as well, so I'd say it's well worth a quick stop.

Breath taking once you r there. But the road is extremely difficult. Half of the foot path is good. the rest of it is climbing on rocks and trees.

About an hour walk with our little ones. The view of the stream along the road was amazing. We enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The waterfall itself was worth seeing. We enjoyed cooling ourselves in the cold stream water.

Transfăgărășan's best spot. More than 1600 meters above sea level and the Nature bursts in it's own splendid. Unmissable! Recommend!

Amazing and refreshing waterfall! People just stop by for a while to enjoy the view and buy foods. Only a few parking spots are available in this place.

Adorable place, very well visible from the road and incredibly touristic, with lots of open markets nearby. I loved the view but I wish I had a chance to look at it better instead of at the sellers.

This location boasts stunning natural beauty, including a breathtaking waterfall. It's unfortunate that there are multiple stalls selling various items, which some visitors may find detracts from the overall experience. However, I recommend visiting in the morning to fully appreciate the tranquility and avoid the crowds.

Amazing experience for the first time around . A magic place in our place to go on top of the mountain to enjoy the balea lac /balea cascada view.

You can just stop right there on the side of the road and see it. If you drive a bit more up, you have a fountain that you can fill water right from the mountain snows that are melting

Such a magnificent place on Transfagarasan. You can admire the view and the beautiful waterfall. There is no parking there so parking on the side of the road is required.

We always make a break in this place. Very nice.

Spectacular views and very beautiful waterfall. There are some nice kiosks at the base of it which sell traditional products, some of them even accepting card payments, which is a huge plus.
