Cheap hotel that's feeling it's age. Paid 38€ for 3. Watch out for the parking. I'd checked on Google maps and saw a large square in front with cars parked there. Arrived late Friday evening and had to park on the square. However, had to move the car before 6 the following day to avoid the car being towed away as they use the square for a market Saturday morning. The room and bathroom were clean. Carpet was a bit stained. Beds are on the small side. Nice café near by for coffee in the morning. Friendly staff.

Paid €8 for breakfast had to drink black tea as waited 40 mins for milk after asking for it so didnt have cereal either nice yogurt but difficult to eat with a dessert spoon and no butter for baguette. Hair dryer in room had melted and toilet seat broken. Complained about breakfast got told we didnt pay for it so showed him reciept then got told to tell the manager who was in at 2pm but as we were leaving to go back to england on a 12 oclock ferry couldnt stay. This particular member of staff was a waist of space. In all would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE ELSE.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, we paid £115 for a double room for 1 night, we could have turned & ran!!! The place is falling to bits, no hot water for a shower, filthy carpet that smells of dog , electrics hanging out of wall, full of long term immigrants staying, it's like a homless doss house, do yourself a favour & run for the hills

Very tired and old-fashioned hotel from the 60's. Showers almost not fit for purpose. Street noise quite late into the night. Rooms shabby in need of decorating. Breakfast is quite good though.

Hotel Bel Azur does not keep appointments. Unfriendly staff and online prices are not true, prices are actually higher. Also there’s barely any water coming out of the shower and moreover the water is cold! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Cheap hotel and you get what you pay for we unfortunately had nightmare people in the two rooms next to us and the walls are thin.noise all night no control in hotel no care for other guests trying to sleep. The room was basically clean and everything worked. I thought it would be a cheap place just to rest my head but nil rest was had.

Avoid. If you think you're being clever booking in a non-chain, you're not. Book into a chain. Bloody awful. Don't believe the photos. We had 2 rooms. Room 1 floor was lino floored, door needed a shoulder charge to open, toilet seat only half on, shower head holder broken as was the shower head itself. Room 2 stained carpet, bathroom lights didn't work (not that bulb had gone - they were multiple halogens and none worked), toilet seat broken and shower head broken. Stayed half an hour and rebooked in Hotel F1 which was comparative luxury.

Does exactly what it says on the label. Bed comfortable enough and shower good and hot. Bathroom a little small and one of the lights didn't work, but at £85 for 3 nights it was OK. Didn't try food or coffee: no need as there are many good places within 100 metres of front door.

Basic but great if just resting your head for the night after tunnel trip. Went with 2 children and a dog. Bunk beds and double bed. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Decor a bit dated and shabby but bathroom was clean and modern and huge. Man on reception was lovely and helpful. Free parking right outside on the square. A little noisy as right in the heart of town so bars still open until early hours. Overall, good for a short stay straight of the tunnel, 5 mins away.

A bit rough around the edges, but very convenient and practical. Arrived quite late in the evening but able to check in with no problems. We unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night, to which they were very accommodating, even giving us a discount for the extra day. Only losing one star due to a faulty hairdryer.
