The Zarisaf glacier of Kerman is related to the Qajar period. Behind the tall and thick walls, smooth surfaces were installed, on which the water was evenly placed during the winter nights, and it froze in the extreme cold of the winter. The diameter of the ice was approximately 30 to 40 cm, the ice was cut into pieces and taken to the freezer which was located next to the ice-making surfaces and stored. At the bottom of the glacier, one or more wells were planned so that the water that would probably be formed from the melting of the ice in the summer season was removed from the bottom of the glacier, and some straw was poured on each layer of ice to prevent them from sticking to each other. . The photo is all you can see from this place, you cannot enter the chamber, there is no one around to ask questions from and not much to do.

One of the biggest icehouses in Kerman province! It is located in Asaye Sefid Park by Shohada St. Its unique dome-shaped design definitely catches one's eyes. I couldn't find a way into this icehouse, in order to see the inside thoroughly.

One of the old glaciers of the city, which is in the middle of the park... the interesting thing about these glaciers is that they have long and vertical walls that put the ice on top of each other and inside the wall.

This glacier remains from the Qajar period and is in an interesting position, approximately, between the two big castles, Dokhtar Castle and Ardashir Castle. The glacier has been well restored, but it is not possible to visit it and it may be forgotten and return to its former state.
