Old style Hotel in front of the trein station and close to the center. We found a bit to expensive the room for the quality and un updated manteinance of the all furniture in the bedroom, breakfast room and swimming pool. The restaurant was fine good food, good service.

This is an old-fashioned hotel with affordable prices that seems to cater to an older clientele. The front desk staff is welcoming, and the hotel's location is extremely convenient for train travelers, right in front of the station. However, the hotel overall is dated, especially in the case of my room and bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable, and there was a hole in the sheet. Breakfast requires advance notice (totally unnecessary hassle). The experience lives up to the price I paid (82eu with breakfast, single occupancy on a week day) but doesn't meet the advertised 4-star hotel rating

No hot water, impossible to take a shower. Called reception they told “everyone is having a shower, wait a few minutes”. Towels were dirty with orange stains resembling blood. I’m never coming back here.

Nice location next to the central station. The decor and mattresses however don't seem to have been updated in a very long time (something the receptionist refused to acknowledge with her reply "that's one opinion") Some panels weren't finished with visible screws and all the doors slam themselves shut very loudly. Breakfast was decent at least.

Despite reasonable pricing for a 4-star hotel, one could wonder if the hotel still matches a 4-star rating. It is clear that it definitely was a 4-star hotel sometime in the past (historic grandeur) but now some urgent renovation is really needed. Bathroom, carpets, room doors,... It is all still acceptable but not more than that, not enjoyable. Toilet brush missing in the room (good luck there 😉). Staff is very friendly though, thumbs up for them.

The location is right next to train station everything was good. We did the reservation through booking the breakfast wasn't included and we need to pay extra and also we needed to say what time we will have the breakfast but it was delicious and a lot of options. I put 4 stars because we did the reservation while we were searching for dog friendly and this came up first but at the end it didn't accept dogs but we paid already for the 2 nights and it wasn't refundable so we lost a day for having go back cause we didn't have anyone to take care of the dogs.

We had dinner with a group of 6 persons on July 8th. Due to the concerts of Andre Rieu, a limited dinner was available, with, unfortunately, no real vegetarian options. However, after checking with the kitchen, they were able to still create an alternative. The evening had it’s up and downs, but the quality of the food was very good. At the end of the evening, the manager came by to apologize and he took several items off the bill. All in all , we had a very enjoyable evening.

We had four reservations at this hotel for a family coming for Andre Rieu's Christmas concert. The food was good, and the hotel location was convenient. The services need improvement. We had a few bad experiences, unlike the other hotels. The front desk staff was rude when we checked in. We believed she was a manager. The Junior suite was fine except for the drinks stored in the refrigerator without turning on. We had to close the door right away after opening due to the hot air from the frig. We could not adjust the temperature in the room when it was too warm. We opened the windows to make it more comfortable. The standard room we reserved through Andre Rieu Travel had no heat. We requested to change after sleeping cold one night. No washcloth, shampoo, and moisturizer in the room. It does not cost much to provide these to the guests. We asked for drinking water and were told to drink from the tap instead of selling it to us. We boiled water to drink.

A little outdated. A little pricey. But directly across from the train station! Absolutely delicious breakfast!!!

The location is great, just across the train station. Rooms are nice and clean, service is also very decent. It's a very nice hotel to stay in Maastricht with many amenities and cosy atmosphere.

Lovely hotel next to the station in Maastricht. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are great a little bit outdated but very cozy. The room comes with a fridge. Great hotel highly recommend it.

Very good location in town. Indoor parking under the hotel and a lift straight form it to the room. Nice size room, we had a balcony. The rooms where a little worn/old. Nice breakfast.

We spent a weekend 06,07,08 October 2023 in this hotel. Company Triopsys celebrated the 25th of existence. Dinner was beautifully arranged. Service was decent. Only one thing I think needed to adjust one or two people less for round tables will give some enough space for everyone to enjoy the meal comfortably. Other than that it was pleasant.

Has a vintage feel to it. But the restaurant didn't have any vegetarian options so keep that in mind.

The hotel needs major renovations. Not sure how Amrath earned four stars - maybe the Michelin star restaurant attached? The rooms are outdated to the point the furniture was worn in spots. The accommodation is 2,5 star at best

I cannot fault the staff or the location. We had the junior suite and were surprised to find a complimentary bottle of prosecco on ice in the room. Unfortunately, our drunk upstairs neighbours were very loud. We could hear every footstep and the bass of the voices travelled down to us (including what sounded like arguing). This went on from about 1 am until 3 am... We were only there for one night, so we slept what we could and then left. The bed was not very comfortable, but the room itself was nice (albeit quite dimly lit and a little dated). Breakfast was as you would expect from a 4 star hotel and the 12 pm check out time was very welcome. In all, the disturbed sleep was enough for us not to return, despite the many plus points, a hotel is for sleeping in and we didn't manage much of that here.

welcome was great! we booked the hotel for only one night in the junior suite and I have asked to leave something romantic and they let us find the prosecco with two glasses for free with a nice welcome letter. The room was super clean from Viktoria, and we have enjoyed a lot the jacuzzi. We had dinner around 8.30pm but the restaurant was completely empty and the workers were ready to go, we felt like we were disturbing and the food was not good. sorry to say that but also the breakfast was really low quality for a 4star hotel. I do recommend this place a lot, but not really the food. thanks for your hospitality.

Sadly, no good internet connexion. This is not the first time I am in this hotel… always the same problem. If you need internet to work, forget it. 😐

Oldish rooms, rooms facing the street/train station are noisy. Breakfast is of a cheap style. Location is ok, a quick 10-12 minutes walking to the old city center.

The experience was good. What I liked: the location very central near the railstation, the room was nice, the breakfast very good and diverse, they have also a swimming pool. To be improved: the temperature in the room couldn't be changed (it was cold) and although I had the heating turned on it didn't work. The bathroom needed a renovation.

This hotel may be "dated" but the rooms are very clean, staff is friendly, and the hotel restaurant has good prices for delicious food. Location is perfect - across the street from the Maastricht train station, about a 10 minute walk to the Vrijthof, with plenty of restaurants and shopping in the immediate area too.

This is a very decent hotel. Especially because of the staff. Breakfast is splendid. Rooms have nice street view windows that help you enjoy the ancient beautiful laidback city of Maastricht. All in all, I’ll return sometime soon.

Not really worth the price we paid. We were charged for parking we didn't use,I got a refund in cash, rather than put it back on my bank card. Our room was at the back of the Hotel on the fourth floor,so nice and quiet. Nothing really to complain about just not good value for money.

250 euros per night for a room that looks like a storage with a view into a dirty garage rooftop. Old worn furniture and sanitary facilities. Sad breakfast. Some layer of dirt. Far from quality. If you are looking for money to quality balance.... you will not find it here. Massive disappointment.

Although the room was large the decor was very dated and quite depressing. The bed only had two small square pillows which were not comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was noisy and inefficient (Even on coldest setting it was 29° in the room). The buffet breakfast was okay. The location is right across the road from the railway station, which was handy although I would not stay there again.

Located just opposite the train station, easily accessible, good location to explore the city. Extremely friendly staff and good choices for breakfast. Nice bar. What I didn't like was the very small bathroom and bathtub/shower combination (Room 119). Breakfast in my eyes was overpriced with extra costs of 17€/person.
