The hotel is close to MECC. However, it is far from the city center and there are almost no places to have a coffee or beer around. The room is huge, with no AC. My room was stinky and I had blood stains on my sheets. The floor was also quite dirty. Bathroom was basic and there is no way to take a shower without flooding the room. Bed is actually two single beds put together and it was extremely uncomfortable. Most of the staff was friendly.

Rooms are awful. Old furniture, old equipments, old carpet. Service came every 2nd or 3rd day only, Staff at reception was very kind always.

I stayed here for 6 weeks. It was fine. The staff are good. There's no cooked food at the breakfast but it's still fine. Weird statue of Jesus as you go in. But whatever fair play - each to their own.

A normal hotel but built in a wonderful local . The whole interior is ordinarily done , and gives off an atmosphere of a deja vu . The staff is friendly .

Staff are gone for some reason. The rooms are nice and cozy and reasonable clean and its next to the train station.

Clean and hygenic, situated right behind the bus stop and train station.

Don't know where to begin, location perfect for people who have work/business at the MECC, not for those who want to see Maastricht. Decent rooms with basics. Breakfast was sufficient and good. But! My,my,my... just one staff member at all times who has to juggle checking in and out guests, making drinks, giving travel information, etc. The lady at the front desk seemed clueless. Limited drinks in the bar and stores are far off. A hotel with no soul.

The hotel is okay. A bit outdated but it’s clean!

Stayed here for graduation, it was clean and quiet. Rooms a bit strange and dated but otherwise great for a short stay!

I've been living here for 9 months (Guesthouse part). Amazing place for democratic price!

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Upon checking into the room, I was immediately greeted with an unpleasant smell of old furniture. Some black hair was found on the pillows, which also smelled bad. The internet connection was very weak, often disconnected.

This is the best hotel my boyfriend and I have stayed in since we arrived in the netherlands. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms (we stayed in two, one on the sixth floor and one on the third floor). Optimal conditions, cleaning and heating. We highly recommend!

Comfortable hotel in the middle of the Maastrict University district. Has a relaxed vibe given the proximity to a commercial zone. Was a bit of a treck from City Center but on bikes it's barely noticeable. Your also about a 20minute brisk walk from the train station and bike hire (located next to one another). Also good to know that it's either the 5 or 7 bus that goes past the door. Breakfast: Healthy selection of meats, fruit, cheese and other dairy and cereal products (costs about €11). And they didn't mind me inviting others either. Staff: Friendly, helpful and speak English. I would always try to throw a few local words in the direction of staff, as it never fails to amuse them! Rooms: We had twin room that was clean, plenty of sockets and free WiFi. Toilet and shower in one room. Place was clean and tidy and we got new towels on the second day. Watch out for road side facing rooms as they get hot in the summer and with open windows you may get woken up by the 5.30am bus. Aside from that. Nice place and thank you very much for the stay.

This place is not a 4 star hotel, don’t let them fool you. It is barely a 2 star. Old, dirty, musky-smelling rooms with uncomfortable beds, no air circulation and paper thin walls. A large group of us got “recommended” this place to stay for a 3 week program at the university of Maastricht and all of us hate it. They will not even refund you if you find another place. Will definitely be staying elsewhere next year.

I've never stayed as a guest, but the facilities are nice (I studied next door and know people who stayed short term, as well as long term). I have always found the staff friendly and caring and I stop in for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee when meeting people. Would recommend.

Air conditioning didnt work in our room. There are seating areas in the halls outside the rooms, a group were up chatting and doing work until around 11pm, quite noisy, having a discussion about a topic, i think they were students. Doesn't feel like there is much privacy in the hotel. Checkout time is 12pm. When we checked out, the reception was busy with people doing the same, and the cleaners were cleaning the floor, around our feet etc with mops. Couldnt this have been done at a mote suitable and quieter time? The shower in our room was a cubicle, and it flooded very quickly, the water didnt drain very well. After a 5-10 minute shower, the water was easily up to my ankles. Double that time and the water would probably flood out into the bathroom. Room was nice overall but a lot of things could be better.

Kind staff, good breakfast. Sadly no bikes by the hotel, but walking to the city was pretty too. The room was alright, only the pillows were really not our style and the windows won't stay opened.

In general it was good. The bed is comfortable, the staff friendly, breakfast was fine. However, it does not have air conditioning at least not in all the rooms because ours did not have therefore in summer it would be a problem. In addition the TV was very small. And it had a gloomy aspect in the hallways that gives an interesting feeling. In general I would say that it was good just that I am not sure if it is a 4-star hotel, if that does mean something
