I had the worst and rudest service of my life in this hotel. The staff’s name is IGOR, this happened in 14th April. Around 11:50 am, I went to check out and asked the staff if I could store my luggage. He said: no, because there was no space left. But I knew this was not true, so I asked him to check again because I had a lot of luggage and really needed to store it. He pretended to check and then came back saying it was possible to store my luggage, but I had to carry it in myself. Even though I had never experienced hotel staff allowing guests to enter the storage room with other guests' luggage, which I thought was a safety hazard, but I still followed him. After storing my luggage, there was still a lot of extra space in the room, so I told him that there was still few space for four or more luggages. His reaction was insane. He glared at me and spoke very unfriendly, saying, "Stop this attitude! I’m not your dog! Check-out time is 11, and you're late! I’m doing you a favor!" I was very shocked and scared by his response because I am a single woman and did not want to have any conflicts with a male staff. So I said nothing, suppressed my anger, left the hotel, and remembered his name before leaving. However, he yelled at me in the lobby that I had no right to remember anything, even just taking a photo of his name badge. I have never experienced this kind of service at any hotels in the world. After leaving the hotel alone, I cried helplessly at the hotel's entrance for a long time and felt very scared. I believe that Citadines's hotels are not prisons and that no one should be subjected to verbal abuse and insults due to a late check-out. To my knowledge, such behavior should not occur even in prisons.

Room is tidy & just a little bit weary. Good use some updating. Nevertheless it serves the purpose. One night light and both reading lights besides the bed were not working. No shower curtain, so water splashes into the floor. Hot water is really hot, so be careful. No hand shower (bidè). Be aware of the room window, there are no safeguards, don't fall out. Air conditioning is efficient with cold or warm air. Room is equipped with electric water kettle but not with coffee machine. You can fill the coffee cup from your room in a coffee automat near the reception desk for free. I just used instant coffee. Tip: If you use "Oatly ikaffe" it may be hard to find. Instead try "Bjorg avoine" (see pic). It's good substitute for milk to use in coffee & tea & morning corn flakes. Room is cleaned once a week and You can always buy extra cleaning days from reception. If needed, You can switch your towels to clean one's on your own from the linings room in the lobby. Trashes has it's own room next to elevator. Room key will open it as well as the linings room and hotels main door and activate the room lights. When outside your room keep the key with You all times. I prefer room window toward the shopping center, but there is also one's on the street/traffic side. Locked baggage room is available where you can leave your bags waiting if you arrive before 3pm.

This hotel is an overpriced, run down mess. Despite booking way in advance and asking for a decent view I looked out at the mall entrance indoors. Ugh. My room had black mold in the shower (health hazard) the shower head was broken, the tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, they only clean *once* a *week* (so for three nights, too bad if you want service), despite being fully booked one elevator (both tiny) was broken and looked like it had been for weeks based on the signage and what laundry staff told me (felt bad for them as they had to use same elevator). Zero apologies from desk staff about any of this. The only saving grace is that it is near the Metro and also a grocery store if you want to cook in your room. Kitchen had very old appliances but was functional. Do NOT stay here! If the staff wants to think about a partial refund, you know where to find me.

Pretty decent place to spend some days in Paris. I had a quiet room looking into the mall, all amenities were to the point, and staff was friendly and helpful. 3 metro lines are right outside the Hotel and the nearby Butte-aux-Cailles neighbourhood is worth exploring.

The hotel is in the harp of the city which is fantastic to get around. The only thing I could fault about the hotel was our room was facing the arcade of the mall. Every time we would open our window we would watch people walking up and down the escalators watching into our window. Overall, the hotel was okay. The manager was helpful and friendly. Thank you 😊

2 stars as the reception staff and location of the property was good. Otherwise paying AUD$500 per night is way too much for the small rooms, with not even a single bottle of water, tea bag, milk… (this is not the first time we are staying in apartment style accomodation, it is normal to expect at-least bare minimal like water, tea bag). No instructions to open sofa bed, no mirror, 2 single beds instead 1 double bed, poor WiFi. Worse part construction above our apartment commenced at 7:30AM, when asked the receptionist “there is nothing much we can do” was the response. Hope things would only improve from here. If you are reading this review to book, ask for the street side apartment.

Positives: Good metro access, decent price. Negatives: The hotel room felt really dingy (scuffed wall, huge gap around outlets), construction started early in the morning above our room, room facing unfinished shopping mall, the shower was uncomfortable. I don’t hate the hotel but I won’t go here again or recommend others go either.

4D3N in the hotel. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful whether we need help. The room was clean and spacious, you are required to clean the rubbish and tidy your room throughout your stay as this is an apartment which I’m aware of. The apartment was right next to a mall that sell basis essential, and near to a few restaurants. The restaurant around the apartment was fine and most importantly it near metro. Both the bed and pillow were comfortable, and big enough for the nights. The room comes with a great view of the street especially at night and the window able to filter most of the noise. I will suggest to use earplugs if you are light sleeper as the police and ambulance sirens is common every hours. Currently there are doing renovation during the day after 8am for next year paris Olympic so try to start your day early which is not an issue for me. There will be drilling and knocking noice throughout the day. Overall experience was good, stayed in the similar apartment in Singapore before so I will suggest to try this apartment as well.

I chose this place for a business trip to Paris. I had a very pleasant stay. I got a room facing the street side. The room was comfortable and clean enough. It was quite enough to sleep well during the night. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and included enough choices. I can really recommend this place.

Too expensive for what you get, there are many other places in Paris that are a lot better. Avoid

This is very bad bad bad experience especially the room service. Our room’s air condition doesn’t work, but the only thing they can do just ask me to wait , no possible to change even having room available, no possible to provide the electricity fan, no possible to cancel and get the refund. What’s bad is , their manager refusing to talk with me. I don’t know why, I really recommend you all to consider it seriously and don’t book this hotel anymore.

Horrible experience! Management is absolutely terrible. Manager is extremely disrespectful and definetely needs lessons on customer service! Housekeeping schedule is messed up. They come in whenever they please. They threw my laundry in the garbage, which I couldn't retrieve, and turned the blame on me. Communication between front desk staff and housekeeping is inexistent, even though they act like it's under control. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

Nice and spacious apartment that we were moved to via our holiday provider (easyjet) as the initial hotel was not to their standard. Very comfy and spacious bed. Hotel was ok mostly to the south east of most attractions, but it is by the metro if anyone wishes to use that as transportation. Our room did face into the foyer of the neighbourighing italia deux shopping complex but this was not an issue for us as we were not in the room during the day and had the curtains closed at night. Coffee and tea available from a machine in the reception to use but you will need to bring a cup down from your own room for it. Has a baggage hold which can be used if you are departing later in the day but wish to stay in the vicinity to pick the luggage up later as we did before going the airport.

Stayed in the apartment for 5 days. Dish washer not working and hair dryer worked intermittently. Feedback to front desk since day one and had to keep reminding them but yet the problems were not fixed till the day we checked out. Very disappointed with the standard of Citadines here.

Very nice hotel near Place d'Italie (near the metro). This is like a small apartment with bedroom, a little kitchen and a bathroom. You can access the hotel 24h/24.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures do not even resemble the pictures on the website. And the most delusional thing is that after one person takes a shower you have to wait 45 minutes until there is hot water again.

Decent place for the price Pros - affordable, TV, kitchen, free coffee, free water, free sparkling water Cons - the windows open inside a mall so practically have to keep curtains closed at all times, relatively small rooms, no cleaning service

Like the location and the room is ok. Bath tub drains very slowly so not ideal. Otherwise it's comfy.

Quite small. No cleaning serviCe (which we expected) but no instructions given on how to access more towels or how to dispose of garbage. Window faced into a mall which wasn’t an ideal view but the large skylight in the mall did allow natural light to come in. No coffee in the room, had to go get it from the lobby. Great location though! So close to all the metro lines.

It is exactly as advertised no more no less. Comfortable clean rooms that have a kitchen. Gives you an apartment without the charm of Airbnb but the comfort of knowing exactly what you get.

-We have booked a Studio and received a room with a view to a…shopping center!! You should advertise this in your web, so then at least I have the chance to choose another place or be aware to pay a bit more to get a room with a decent view. When the shopping is open (every day from 10-20), the room gets noisy and of course there is not air coming in when you open the window, because the window and room is under a shopping roof. There is no service room daily, which is expected in such a place. We have stayed 6 nights and got room cleaning only once. Besides, you need to dispose your trash yourself. However, the location is good, next to a metro and you have all kind of shops nearby. The staff is also nice.

You get for you pay for and this is a cheap hotel. Warning: Some rooms are not facing the street but the inside of a shopping mall(?!) Make sure not to get one of those terrible rooms. We did, but after one night we were replaced to a street facing room. No charm whatsoever, but clean and OK sized rooms with an extremely small restroom. Breakfast is OK and I guess the 13 euro price tag corresponds. The best thing about this hotel is that it is right next to the wonderful Butte-Aux-Cailles quarter.

I had an incredibly uncomfortable stay at this hotel. My experience was marred right from the start when I was placed in a room with no natural light, and the only window faced into an indoor mall, with my room directly visible at eye-level to mall shoppers. The room listing online showed outdoor facing windows; this major discrepancy between the advertised images and the actual room was highly disconcerting. Upon voicing my concerns, the hotel staff displayed an unenthusiastic attitude, offering minimal assistance. After much persistence, I was eventually relocated to a room with an outdoor facing window. Unfortunately, the room I was moved into was a disaster; none of the amenities functioned properly. The fridge shelves had been ripped out, the dishwasher flooded the floor every time it ran, and the heating and air conditioning were non-operational. The worst part: a nauseating, thick smell of rotting peanut butter permeated the room. Despite repeated complaints, the issue was only rectified after two full weeks. The unsettling and highly unprofessional comment from the front desk that the previous occupant of my room had been "extremely ill" left me feeling uneasy about this pervasive smell. Moreover, the advertised WiFi was practically non-existent, rendering any attempt at internet use futile. The overall lack of regard for guest comfort and safety reflect an unacceptable standard of hospitality. I would strongly advise potential guests to steer clear unless they are willing to endure a litany of inconveniences and discomforts.
