I have stayed at this hotel several times for business purposes, and it's evident that it once was a top-notch establishment. However, it seems those days have passed. Considering the price range of 500+ EUR per night, one would expect a clean room (mine wasn't), prompt coffee service at breakfast (I had to wait 10 minutes in line at the bar), and a smooth check-in process (I had to wait 25 minutes before getting checked in). Unfortunately, this will be my last stay at this hotel. Ps: Thanks for not answering my email with complaints. It proved all of the above to me.

Be aware. I had a booking confirmation from the 24 of may until the 29 of may. My family was thrown out of the hotel on the 27 because "the hotel was fully privatized". They gave us no other reason. We were sent to a third class sister hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.

This place is not worth the investment in time effort or money. The staff are rude and when I was there 90-95% - of the hotel was off limits to guests. After a 24+ hr day of travel there wasn’t even a spot available to sit in the lobby (I was asked to wait at a nearby business) Staff was not accommodating and I felt like an imposter after paying a premium to stay here.. seek better accommodations especially if you are American.

All in all a decent stay! Would I say a 5 star hotel? Probably not, but a good 3.5/4 star hotel. Pros: Beds were extremely comfortable and the bedrooms were a very decent size. Great location in Paris - walking distance to many restaurants and some popular shopping districts. Hotel is attached to a bar/restaurant that is quite lively and fun in the evenings if you’re looking for that sort of vibe. Day staff and helpers are nice, they have a good attitude and are helpful. Nice outdoor area/patio. Good breakfast Cons: Lobby has a weird smell - I saw this in the reviews as well and my family and I definitely noticed. I will note though it does look like a 5 star hotel’s lobby. They charge 150 euros a night as a “deposit” for all additional expenses, which is a little unique in my opinion (also they hold this for 7-9 days). Service can be very slow, specially in the evenings. Good luck getting a coffee or tea in the evening we basically gave up hope! Bathrooms were small - but we went as a family of 3 so if you’re just 2 this should be fine. In summary - I probably would not go again unless it’s priced as a 3.5/4 star.

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff was perfectly nice and the location is great. The hotel is not kept up well. The temperature in our room was not controlable and we brought it to their attention multiple times. They tried to fix it but our thermostat did not work. I finally got tired of complaining. And we had a flight cancel on us and they refused to refund us. Eventually we got a 50% discount. Better than nothing. Hotel has great potential.

Wine is good but pricy Several tables booked whereas no customers show up after 2 hours Do not hesitate to move customers to other tables if you have the bad idea to sit at this type of table (apparently reserved)

What a lovely hotel with amazingly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble for anyone. Buffet breakfast was fantastic with an excellent selection of hot and cold. The only slight disappointment for us on our visit was that the bar and gardens were closed for maintenance - not something that can be helped (has to be done sometime) but it would have been nice to relax with a drink in the evening or at lunchtime in the garden. Otherwise, a perfect long weekend. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The room was nice despite a shower that required quite a bit for f manipulation to function properly. The house keeping staff were responsive. The lounge, however, was a terrible experience. The bar staff were rude and dismissive. After sitting at a table and receiving no service for over 15 minutes we approached a staff member who told us he was busy and that we could mot order from the bar. Another staff member told us he was leaving for the day and he did. We went to the manager who took another 10 minutes to bring our beverages. We asked for the bill immediately and had to insist some time later that we wanted to pay and leave. A hotel bar is typically a basic service, but a disaster here.

I wish I could say I loved this hotel. I had high hopes as this was my 40th birthday and 22 year wedding anniversary. We booked this option, while looking at several other ones. Here is what really disappointed me: We paid a premium to be in the prestige Eiffel Tower view. You could NOT see the tower unless you stood in a particular spot on your balcony. This should be disclosed as I expected to see it from my room. There was construction going on which was not disclosed during time of booking. We were not able to use anything in the hotel except our room and restaurant. The jacuzzi was not working, and this was a highlight for us a time of booking. I booked this on their “Black Friday sale” which claimed to be 50% off but when we checked in the prices without a sale were $269 while we averaged close to $500 with the “50% discount” so wrong! I sent an email expressing my dissatisfaction and disappointment on the day of arrival- still no response. When asked by the staff how was my stay- I was upfront about everything. They called the manager to help us settle it, but the manager said “sorry, we can’t do anything” I would not recommend this place. There are much better hotels for this price.

Was greated by friendly faces which immediately took our bags. The receptionist was extremely helpful and we found our way to our room quickly. The amenities were very clean and neat. The housekeepers was efficient and also tidy and overall lead to an amazing weekend.

Breakfast is a total mess. Most of the food has finished or only the last pieces are left. Only one chef is making omelets, there is a long queue for that. Nothing gluten free products are available, unless you ask and then you get two pieces of bread after waiting for an hour. Today I took my own gluten free bread with me. Basic coffee is horrible and waiting for special coffees takes time. Cleaning tables is very slow and customers have to pick up their own cutlery and serviettes, because the waitresses do not have time to clean tables. It was interesting to look at the open kitchen door and server/network cabinet. Cyber security? Yesterday (29.7.2023) the spa was closed for technical reasons. There was no information on hotel TV or other information channels about that unless you went to the spa and heard it was closed. No news when that will be open again? Roomservice (the cleaners) are ringing the doorbell, but they are entering the room immediately. It is not nice in a 5 star hotel. The hotel price and expectation of the hotel standards are not met.

I was very disappointed. Starting with the bad smell when you enter. Check in time is 16:00 therefor there are a lot of people sleeping in the Lobby- which is a no go. The staff and Bar are the only good things about the Hotel. The rooms are old, cold and small. The carpet stained. The Hotel definitely needs a makeover. I wouldn‘t book it again. Look further ir you can:-)

The experience wasn't very pleasant, I'm afraid. The Concierge took a very long time to answer and deliver some items to the room. Hairdryer wasn't available in the room. The breakfast area was an absolute mess. The food quality wasn't great and the buffets areas were scattered all around. One of the staff was transferring bread with her bare hands and was rude when questioned about it. The only plus I would say is the location of the hotel.

Avoid at all costs. Never experienced as many problems or such disrespect as I have at this hotel. I arrived after an 11 hour flight and checked into the hotel and a worker called Robin spoke in French to his collègue about me. He said “he thinks he’s in his own country wearing that hat”. I have dark skin and I knew his comment was racially motivated. I went to my room and called the manager Agatha. She gave a complimentary gift and said she would write a report. I thought that the issue was over until Robin, the guy who had talked about me behind my back not realizing I understood French, came up to me the next day and asked what I was doing on my phone. I honestly think there is something wrong with Robin. I’m simply a guest and on two separate occasions he humiliated and disrespected me. I am disappointed that the hotel employs such a person. I checked out of the hotel early because of this experience. I don’t think anyone should go to this hotel, especially after the disturbing racial comments and hostile workers. Besides the above, the hotel breakfast was subpar and the gym didn’t have proper ventilation or air conditioning. Rooms are surprisingly outdated with old carpets and curtains that aren’t even properly hung. The employees also speak very loud in the hallways. I opened the door in the morning twice to ask them to not speak too loud. The lobby looks nice and that’s about it. I don’t know how a hotel can say they have 5 stars. It’s maybe 2 stars at best.

What can I say. I am devastated. All my Jewellery has been stolen from my room. I feel my trust & security while staying at this hotel has been violated. The communication & support from this establishment while dealing with this incident has been woeful at best. I cannot wait to leave & advise you to seriously consider whether this is a place you want to trust with your belongings while staying in Paris. In our room the aircon didn't work, the phone didn't work and it was decidedly average for the cost per night. Sadly the worst experience I've ever had all round on my many travels across the globe.

In no way is this a five star hotel. It’s not a four star. It’s in a great location and has marble finishing that make it seem more elevated. However- they don’t have their act together to be claiming a four star. The pain associated with trying to order room service, get takeaway coffee, check in, get housekeeping, use the AC in the room (I’ve tried every single setting. I’ve googled. I’ve searched the manuals for this discontinued device… nothing), etc. The towels are standard 2-3 star. The shower water pressure is a 1-2 star level. Some of the employees are nice so I feel bad writing this but management needs to step it up and it’s not for for people to think the star rating is even sort of what they’ll receive.

This place has potential but just needs to get it together. I think some rooms have been remodeled and others not. Our room was nice but our friends were not happy as it felt very old. We arrived very early and new it was too early for check in as it is listed at 4pm. They collected our luggage along with two other couples traveling with us. We left to go on a tour through Paris on motorcycle sidecars which I highly recommend. Anyhow we get back to the hotel at 5pm and get the keys for three of our room. We each go to our perspective rooms to find one with luggage and the other two without. One of us found our bags in an unguarded room and grabbed it and took it to our room. The last couples luggage was no where to be found. Sadly the staff didn’t seem to care until we, on our own, found a manager to look into the missing bags. About 45 minutes later they found it delivered into the wrong room by looking At security footage. Breakfast is included with our room. It’s a bit confusing where to go as you first arrive in a room that looks like the dinning room but it’s next to it. We arrived about 20 minutes after opening and there were 8 chafing dishes but all are still empty except one and it has terrible looking bacon. The omelette station has no one there. Slowly other items came out but it was time for us to leave on a tour of the town. The bar and restaurant we were told was in the hotel was our hopeful return after a day of touring Paris. They were both closed for remodeling. Would have been nice to be notified of this in advance so we could plan. Overall a half remodeled hotel with management issues and a lack of security even though you see what appears to be a ton of security people in the building just to find out they didn’t work there. They were part for a convention and some for a private detail protecting someone. We did like the location and luckily we found local food. Hope they can get it together to make it a better stay in the future.

Our recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular, and it's all thanks to the incredible staff, particularly Sarah, who made our experience truly memorable. From the moment we checked in, Sarah's warm and attentive service stood out. She not only efficiently handled our check-in but also went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations for dining and activities in Paris. Her personalized touch enhanced our entire stay, making it extra special as we traveled with our infant on their first trip abroad. The entire hotel staff echoed this friendliness, creating a welcoming atmosphere that added to the charm of our Parisian adventure. The breakfast experience deserves special mention – it was, without a doubt, one of the best we've had in any hotel. The spread was not only fresh but also served hot, ensuring a delightful start to our days exploring the City of Lights. In summary, our stay at this hotel was marked by exceptional service, thoughtful recommendations, and a truly delicious breakfast. We're grateful for the warm hospitality that contributed to making our trip to Paris unforgettable. Five stars and our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team!

My family and I arrived at the hotel around 7 am on Jan 31. We were exhausted after a long fly (11 hours). Mohammed was very nice and did his best to provide us with our rooms. Even though our check-in was initially scheduled for noon, we were settled at 9 am sharp. We couldn't get the rooms we booked because we were too early, but the service was amazing. We spent the most amazing 5 days there. The breakfast buffet was incredible, and the service couldn't be better. It is well located. 5 min walking distance to Les Champs Elysees and surrounded by amazing restaurants. I would definitely recommend this amazing hotel.

Merci to Emma and Fariba for an incredibly organized check-in experience at Collectioneur Hotel! Upon our arrival, the rooms and keys were ready, and their efficiency made the process seamless. Our room exceeded expectations – clean, comfortable, and truly enjoyable. A big thank you for ensuring a fantastic start to our stay!"

Great luxury five star hotel badly let down by a very three star buffet breakfast. We loved our stay but after one horrible breakfast experience we ate out for breakfast in the Champs Élysée better and ironically cheaper! Please sort that out guys!

Our stay was excellent at the Hotel du Collectionneur. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and very comfortable room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. And the doormen greeted us, coming and going and helping us to get taxis and directions. I would recommend this hotel as we had a very pleasant experience.

Staff were friendly but room was extremely run down. I tried to run a bath one night and a part of the tap fell off, the bath plug also would not fit in properly and we had to make a phone call 3 times before someone actually came to fix it. Our tv would turn itself off after half an hour of being on each time which just added to our unpleasant stay. Wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel. Average at best!

It's listed as a five-star hotel, and in reality, it's a two-star hotel under construction. The lobby smells of poop disgusting place, and the service could use some approvement😉 I booked a room with Spa service for extra money when I arrived, and it was close; however, the rooms also looked horrible.

We are grateful for the quick check-in and Ms. Fariba’s help and the good behaviour, and gave amazing information. Room service was amazing, fast, and well cleaned! Breakfast was amazing, and the service! Thank you for an amazing trip!

This hotel is not a 5* hotel....The staff are so unprofessional & rude. The smell in reception was unbearable throughout the stay. I had requested a room near an elevator and got one who couldn't be further away from them. The room was not renovated, hot & small. No possible aeration either. My neighbour had his dinner tray in the corridor at 5pm on the day we arrived, and it was still there when we departed at 11am the next morning. Breakfast however was very good, good variety and delicious. It did take us 20 minutes for our coffees to arrive. It's a nice 4* but it's definitely not a 5* in their service approach.

Overall experience was okay. I would definitely not class this hotel as 5 star as staff were slow and most of our rooms fitting were broken. Lamps did not work, bath tub plug did not work, taps were flaking paint everywhere. Won’t be recommending!

(Translated by Google) In a neo art deco decor, this parisian palace style brasserie bar offers a rather classic menu of this type of establishment. A good point for reasonable rates (although Parisian) lunch that will allow you to lunch without (too much) ruin. The staff is welcoming although a bit stuck, but that's also what makes this place so charming. No big crush, but a very recommendable place.

Really nice hotel, professionell from A-Z 👍🏼🙏🏼 we can really recommend it! Very clean, luxury, great breakfast. Perfect service, always nice. They care about everything. The room was a little bit too small for our taste and the third bed was a box bed, but our child said it was comfortable - so everything was great!

Very bad experience, wouldn’t even give this hotel a 2*. Breakfast buffet queue is massive, 15 min waiting in queue to reach egg station, food and drinks were finishing so fast, servers couldn’t manage to refill on time. Bath tub wouldn’t work and after calling reception 6 times and waiting for 3 hours just gave up, they wouldn’t answer my call anymore, had to start calling from my cellphone to landline and surprisingly this they do answer fast. Rooms not cleaned properly, you can tell tea cups were just rinsed from previous guest. Definitely don’t recommend. It’s not a cheap place to stay, take your $ somewhere else

This hotel would be fine if they didn't charge a frankly egregious rate. As it stands, at the price point, it's awful. Our shower arm in our room was broken so the shower head only sprayed the wall, making taking a shower awful and difficult. Our room looked nothing like the pictures online, and was small. We were on the first floor and there is not enough noise insulation, so we had rap music blaring in at 1am. The house keeping service was non-existent. We stayed only two nights (got other accomodations for the remainder of our stay). During our stay, they "cleaned" our room once, and took our coffee cups without replacing them. They did not actually clean the entire room, just made the bed, and took our coffee cups, so we couldn't drink coffee. I asked the concierge to get us a taxi at one point and was told to download an app. I asked for assistance getting tickets and he said he could see availability but I would just have to go online and look myself. For a hotel charging hundreds of Euros a night, and purporting to be a 5 star hotel, it is not worth it by any stretch of the imagination.

You can't compete on the location: Champs-Elysees, Faubourg St-Honore, Parc Monceau, add top that a few museums around and other great hotels and lounges. Quiet but close to everything. Very easy for parking compared to other hotels in Paris. The renovation is a beautiful art deco style. very elegant, clean look. the staff at reception is always very helpful and fast. the rooms are cleaned in time and thoroughly. we stayed as a family in a 5th floor suite + a communicating room for the children. extremely spacious. you do NOT find this space in the area. the inside courtyard is lovely. there are some rooms with terrace which we will try at our next stay !! The gym is of good size and with recent machines. shame the pool was closed because of Covid. loved the breakfast. I have to add that it is a very safe area and the security is tight in the hotel. again, not a given in Paris. I continued my stay for business without the family and i tested their services also in this situation. really good services. example: sent an email with my covid travel documentation to the concierge. 3 minutes later: an envelope was slipped through below the door with the printed docs...

Luxurious hotel. Security is very good, the beds are very comfortable and the showers are amazing. The location is a close walk to cafes, shopping and groceries. The maid service is not American standards and our room has not been replenished with the same things as we had from day one. Some days we get coffee cups, some days we don’t. Some days we get cream, others we don’t. Some days you get water bottles in your room some days you don’t. We had two tall glasses on day one for drinks, they never returned. Except for that this place is very very upscale.

It’s service is far from 5 star! Could not get into my room till after 5 pm even though they had said it would be available multiple times before. Both the receptionist said they would call me when the room was ready and didn’t; the first said it would be ready no later than 4pm and the second no later than 430 pm and not available till 5 pm. The spa was nice but the person a bit rude and they closed it from 1-215 in the afternoon. The room is tastefully done.

The hotel is beautiful, room is nice and the bed is comfortable; the bar and restaurant are great with delicious cocktails and food. Staff is helpful. The ongoing renovation is very noisy and disturbing unfortunately. My husband couldn’t attend a meeting because he couldn’t hear anything, they were drilling right above our room. I talked to a staff member and he kindly took care of the issue so the work had been moved to another location. But still, this is not a solution. We should have been informed upon arrival what we could expect. Better yet, a hotel normally is closing the part of the hotel where there are works being done. Especially in 5star hotel.

Beautiful area, about ten minutes away from shopping area. Rooms are good but bathroom was small and drain clogged and it took a long time to get the hot water to work. Enjoyed most of the breakfast except for the fresh juices and lukewarm water. Overall at the price point, I'd expect it to have more options and a better experience

Reception guy were very rude and almost made fun of me when I was gonna check in. Seemed more bothered than pleased to have us staying at the hotel. When you book a 5 star hotel you really except more than this. I'd recommend you reading this to book a good 3 star hotel instead of this. Sure, hardware could be 5 star, but the service were non existent. Whole lobby were full of scaffoldings and noisy construction workers during our whole stay, this wasn't mentioned before arrival. Just mentioning this before arrival would make it okay for me. When we visited the hotel restaurant, 2/4 courses I ordered was not available for the night which they told me 45 minutes after I ordered them, which had me waiting 45 minutes for nothing. Also we received stuff that we did not ordered, which we of course had to pay for... Staff in the restaurant were very friendly but had very little knowledge about the menu, the wines, their stock and we're not synchronized at all. Food was okay

Stayed at hotel for 2 nights while we toured Paris, prior to our boat tour to Normandy. The room had an espresso machine and was roomy. Breakfast was included which was delicious. My only problems with this hotel were that the bellman used the pull up handle to lift my very heavy carry on, it is now wobbly and could easily pull all the way out! Secondly, I left a jacket hanging in the closet as we rushed to leave the room. The tour director, my husband and my daughter all asked if housekeeping had found it. The answer was no to all 3. This was a lie! It was hanging on the right side of the closet. No effort was made to locate it before our river cruise departed. Very disappointed!

The room was lovely & clean. Kitchenette fantastic! Window a bit drafty & paper thin to the street noise but quite sound secure within the building (do not hear other guests). All the staff I met were friendly & kind. Location easy access to Nation Station. Street feels safe with cafes, grocery, shops, etc. If traveling with lots of luggage, room will feel small.

The hotel was beautiful. We were in a classic suite which was very bright and spacious for our family of 4. The breakfast every morning was wonderful and the location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little bit busy and there was a lot of security as a visiting pro soccer team was staying at the hotel while we were there, which was kind of cool. Would definitely return.
