Great free entertainment! Great atmosphere and fun for the whole family. However, for the amount of people at night events, they need more washrooms that don't breakdown! They were fixed eventually but people can't be left with such few options while they are down.

Penticton Peach Festival was started in 1947 - so 2019 is the 72nd year! It's the biggest free family festival in Western Canada - and in the Pacific North West of the States as well. It's incredibly well organized & run - especially considering all the directors and staff are volunteers. Peter's Brothers Construction & Paving is the key sponsors. Amazing generosity! They definitely make it doable for such an amazing free festival. This year I met people from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Washington, Oregon & all over BC. Come check it out! I don't know what they'll do next year to match or beat what they did this year - but they always seem to!

Probably one of the coolest local free family festivals I've ever been to. Just a good time with great acts.

Bands have been pretty lackluster in the last few years.

We reach Penticton the 12th of August 2023 and we discover this space with this Festival: it was amazing! Free music and a lot of food truck with a lot of kind of food and beverage. Space well managed by the organization in order to check entrance, keep out alcohol and annoying people. People inside the Festival was sticking to the rule (give space to others, give space to kids, not putting garbage on the grass) and music and exhibitions were very interesting. It a must if you visit Penticton!

I went to the 54-40 concert on Saturday night. As is every year it is free to attend. Bring your own chair and get in early if you want to be close to the stage. No alcohol allowed or for sale in this venue. The Peachfest staff always do a great job of putting on this event.

😐 To many dogs on the people beach. Bi-law just rolled on by didn't do a thing. Not sure why we have specific bi-law officers for animals if they don't do anything. Waste of tax payers money. On a high note the public washrooms were better than normal. Less drug addicts in the area as well.

👍👍 The garden is named after Penticton's sister city Ikeda, Japan. It is a garden among the beach front parks and beaches along the scenic Okanagan Lake, which is located right downtown. The garden shares the location with the Penticton Art Gallery. A beautiful place for all seasons. There is a lot to...

😠 I don't mind walking past it on my way to smoke a joint, everyone seems to enjoy it. I myself hate the water and would rather end up bloated, floating upside down in a life jacket than be around that many people.

😐 Been here a few times. Love the campground. Although , this weekend had to cancel due to Gov't declared State if Emergency cause by wildfires. Travel advisory says not to travel unless essential. Campground still refuses to refund deposit. I didn't cancel for no reason at all!!! I'm NOT allowed to t...
