This hotel is a 30-45min flat slow walk from Rotterdam Central train station, through a very relaxing and quirky area! At the arrival, the check-in was quick and very informative. Staff are all very friendly. The entire hotel is full of amazing sentences for self reflection, which seems like a quest: try and find the next one! Loved it! The rooftop bar and restaurant, overlooks the Erasmus bridge! The entire building is full of natural light, and the hotel engages guests towards an environment friendly behaviour! I know where to come should I return to this city! Totally recommend!

We booked the sun rise room and the view was spectacular as promised in photos, staff are nice and welcoming. However, the room is quite oddly designed and we did not have a comfortable stay as we expected. I wonder why no one in the review mentioned the see through bathroom where you can see your partner using the toilet with no curtain at all for privacyā€¦ imagine you are travelling with your sibling or your friend! The TV is built in behind a mirror, that blurs the screen, canā€™t watch it without seeing glare. The vent was very loud and the heating is so weak and unable to be turned on above 22C, we kept waking up feeling cold. The breakfast on 7th floor is okay but the chef is clearly too lazy to make a proper omelette, it was just a cold egg sheet with toppingsā€¦ very disappointing for a ā‚¬20 breakfast. I wouldnā€™t return personally, the view is really the only draw for this hotel. I would recommend nH to try being less edgy and observe what guests really look for in a comfortable stay.

I could put five stars because the view is impressive (if you book a room with the skyline). The river is very beautiful. The rooms are very quiet. I enjoyed the deep silence of the night we had there. The breakfast was quite nice, the bed comfortable. You can open a bit something to feel the air from the outside (lot of high tower hotels only have climatisation and you can not open windows). But I didn't like the bathroom. It is too much design and not comfortable (it can be surprising). But I look forward to coming back, just for the view.

-Amazing atmosphere.-Fantastic premises. -From the check in until the end. We were welcomed by Esmeralda and staff in the front desk in a timely manner with an answer to all of our questions from recommendations of what to do in Rotterdam to technical questions about the hotel itself. The night shift staff (our friend from Aruba) was helpful, friendly and patient with everyone that walked in. -The breakfast was a amazing-delicious. Everybody was patient, well trained and happy to help. Raquel and Sonia went above and beyond with our family to give us the best experience. -Bar staff was helpful and knowledgeable. -The room was clean, organized, modern and had a great view. -Sauna room was clean, comfortable and with an amazing view. Thank you for your first class service. Cannot wait to visit them again !!!

The rooms were ok, although there was not much light in the room. Our last night at this hotel was awful, there was a big party at the 7th floor and we could hear eveything even the ppl shouting. When we complained to the receptionist, they didnt know anything about a party which wasn't true cause you could hear the music on the grond floor. The breakfast was really good and the staff at the breakfast were really kind as wel altho we wouldn't come again.

Great view from our room and the bed was comfortable. The food was better than average hotel food and they make an effort to be contemporary and have cute and novel items at breakfast and on the food menu. They have a ā€˜croissant barā€™ with delicious pizza croissants and strawberry cream croissants! The reason I give 4 stars is because some of the facilities didnā€™t work well, such as the elevator. Also the staff told us the incorrect breakfast time which caused us to get up earlier than we wanted.

This is a awesome hotel in a great part of town. The hotel amenities and views from the gym bar/restaurant are breathtaking. Definitely try the NH cocktail itā€™s incredible and the breakfast in the morning is worth it! The staff made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make our 5 night stay enjoyable. Robbin and the whole front desk staff were incredibly hospitable. Robin went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay and provided great recommendations on city activities. We also stayed during Halloween and they curated an incredible experience in the lobby with fun and spooky drinks and food throughout the weekend.

An amazing experience at NHOW with gracious staff and a great view! Upon entering we were welcomed with a lovely cocktail and received an amazing corner room with a beautiful view of the Erasmus bridge as booked. We booked the room as a celebration for my graduation, and even though it was during a busy period, hence a ā€œpremiumā€ price paid, it was well worth it! The buffet was sublime and offered a great array of choices. Big shout out to the lovely lady who welcomed those into breakfast, her positivity radiated. Lastly, the reception went above and beyond when I forgot to pack some personal female products and they offered some of their own to help my emergency. Beyond kind! The only little down point I would mention is the TV. The TV was a bit old with no possibility to cast your own shows, where we ended up using my laptop. Itā€™s very minor hence I do not remove a star, but just as a note for future guests who expect to use the TV :) Overall, it was a lovely experience with a great view and kind service!

I had an excellent stay at Nhow Rotterdam these past few days. Staff was really friendly and the room + service was excellent all-round. Another addes bonus was the top notch view you get to enjoy from your room and rooftop terrace, will definitely be going back.

This is the best hotel ever. It was an amazing stay looking at the skyline of Rotterdam from the 23st floor. The room was very clean and neat with the necessary utilities. The hotel is an arty way of staying with top quality things. The service was great with a huge hospitality and service. Thank you so much.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. Staff were pleasant and happy to help in every situation during our stay. A special shout out to Sonia who made our visit even better and Patricia who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived.

Location is very good. Fancy and clean. The view is fantastic. However, the security is loose. Anyone can take elevator to the room floors without room card. I was waked up by someone knocking violently at midnight, and many strangers outside my door, looked like drunken. Then there was lots of noise coming from the bar after they took elevator down. The incident let me felt unsafe during accommodation. The staff do nothing after I reported the elevator issue. It can still be operated without room card to every level during my stay. Moreover, staff in front desk was rude and repeatedly confronted us when we request for slippers on the second day of my stay. It seems like he thought us greedy and trying to get additional slippers, and therefore we felt offended. What a bad attitude.

My stay at the nhow was amazing! The staff was so helpful, courteous and pleasant! It was my first visit out of the country so I was concerned about the language barrier or just the unknowns of being in a foreign country. They went above and beyond my expectations! The food (breakfast especially) was incredible from presentation, choice and taste! When I tell you I eat once a day in America because of severe GI issues/pain and I eventually ate no less than 3 times a day there with NOT one issueā€¦I tell NO lies!!! The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. My view was crazy!!! I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay here again!!

Super amazing hotel with the best view over the Rotterdam skyline and so easy located close to the city! The design of the hotel is on top, and they change their artwork quite often with local art workers (amazing!) The rooms were super good - nothing was missing and nothing to complain. I even came earlier than the check in time and the staff was so friendly enough to give a room. Also do I want to thank Lauren for the great service and touch during the stay! Great job, hotel en employees keep it up!

Such an amazing experience in the hotel with my husband and my 7 months baby. We stayed here for 2 nights. Baby bed is free. The view is very good. They have a restaurant and bar at the 7th floor with a very nice view, you can also sit at the balcony. The receptionist are friendly. And the people who serves in the bar are also friendly.

Great location and transport links. If you don't fancy a meal at the hotel, defo head to the Foodhallen, which is across the road and has plenty yummy options. Only significant issue I had was our room was super cold. We had to run a hot shower to warm up the room. I guess it would be a great hotel to stay at in the hot summer months of the year. Air-conditioning was poor and warmth setting was ineffective. Appreciated the incentive of if you do not opt for daily room cleaning, you get a free beverage at the end of the night. Shame the hotel bar was smaller than i expected and not enough staff to cover orders efficiently. Booked a junior suite. The TV in our lounge was faulty, despite it being reported moments after we checked in, no attempt to fix or replace during our stay, so was not able to use this area as I expected. Lastly, the view from my room was beyond beautiful, even on rainy days.

The nhow was a really nice hotel. The staff in the lobby were friendly & welcoming. A lot of the rooms have nice views of the river too. The main issue was the lack of lighting in the rooms, for some reason they don't have any ceiling (proper) lights, just a few lamps here and there.

Rotterdam's winter felt surprisingly warm, thanks to the friendly and caring staff at the nhow Rotterdam Hotel. This has been the best hotel experience we've ever had, far exceeding our expectations. The high level of comfort and cleanliness was impressive, but it was the professional, hospitable, and thorough service from the front desk staff that really made our stay memorable. Simple acts of kindness can make a big difference, and that's exactly what we experienced here. I highly recommend this hotel to all friends planning a trip to Rotterdam.

My experience was not ideal. - The rooms are very dark and cold (even after changing parameters on the control panel). - Showerhead was leaking. - I needed to change my room card four times, because it was not working (during a 3-night stay). - And finally I left 2 jackets in my wardrobe and called them the next day to check if they could send it to me. I was told nobody found anything, but they would check again. The next day I heard the same story. I suggested my stuff might have been stolen and I was surprised how indifferently I was informed that, yes, this could have happened, but they had no influence on that. Weird. Edit: I see I was asked to send you an email. I already sent one to [email protected] on the 1st of December. Nobody replied.

The architecture was unique and interesting. The view was beautiful. The room was clean; however, housekeeping did not remove room service plates. The plate to flush the toilet was broken. The TV would not turn on and when we asked for IT assistance it never occurred. The food was just ok except for the beautiful breakfast buffet. If we return to Rotterdam we would stay at a different hotel.

Our experience in a 'Nhow Room' with Bath and a nice view was excellent. In addition to the quality of the room and materials and the atmosphere, what really stands out is the service and attention to detail. The location is also incredibly convenient, with access to a tram, metro and even water taxi stop. Oh and the breakfast? Among the best!

This is a really incredible hotel! The rooms are clean, high tech, and they have a great view of the city. The food for breakfast is fantastic. The service team there was very professional and kind.

This review is long overdue. Been a long time since our week long stay in this property as newcomers into Rotterdam. Nhow is one of the trendier brands, and our experience there did not disappoint. We also celebrated a birthday on the terrace bar there, and the hospitality team outdid themselves to make the occasion festive. Always THE place to catch a few drinks with visiting friends and relatives!

Hotel is OK, though I donā€™t appreciate the concrete walls. Otherwise nice and trendy. The placeā€™s location next to the Erasmusbrug is both great but also its downfall: noise from traffic (tram!) is loud and may keep you awake. Another thing is why would a large jar of orange juice with vodka be readily available at reception for kids to accidentally take?

The location is great. Easy to reach by car or public transport . I had a room on the 19th floor with a breathtaking view. Top Cleanliness . Quiet room. I loved the coffee machine in the room and the bathrobe. Staff very friendly from the reception to the breakfast. They were all very helpful! I will definitely stay in Nhow again on my next visit to Rotterdam!

We stayed here in February 2018. The hotel is very nice. It is quite pricey, but that is more than logical looking at the location and the view that you get. Also, the room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly as well.

We visited for a conference, so I canā€™t share my impressions about the rooms and how it is to stay at nhow. However, during the event I attended it was clear that the place is great, the staff is very helpful and the food delicious. We found the location convenient - itā€™s relatively easy to get to, and itā€™s close to the main sites of Rotterdam.

I stayed at this hotel to attend a company event. My verdict, the hotel is really nice. At check-in: The front desk staff were helpful, funny and kind and check-in was a breeze. The rooms themselves are not too big, but nicely appointed with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately they lack a desk to work at and this was the number one thing my colleagues and I commented about. While there is a water kettle (to make tea) there really isn't any room to put it. Just a minor niggle, it is a wasted opportunity. Breakfast was plentiful and the quality was good, but the presentation is a bit too "special" for me - you go hunting for items, but you will find something new every day, mostly since you didn't notice the day before. The surroundings of the hotel are quite pleasant - it is right next to the cruise ship terminal, so you might see big ships and if you are into taking a run in the morning, there is a wonderful 5km in safe and clean environment waiting for you.

The room was beautiful and the view was amazing. We enjoyed just sitting and looking out. We were offered a drink at check in. We got free coffee tea and water in the room. The breakfast was tasty however the placement was more form over function. You have to go on a little scavenger hunt to find everything you might need. We went to the bar for some drinks and ordered fries. The staff in the bar was so unorganised we were ignored for the most part. I received the wrong drink at first and our fries took ages (we had to ask multiple times if they were still coming). The drinks and the fries did taste good though. We noticed the servers having to ask each table if they were holding their order. (It didn't seem like they were missing people it was like 4 servers or more ). After waiting too long we decided to order room service in the hopes it would be faster however the website gave us an error message and after calling with the room phone I was told room service wasn't available at the moment because they were to busy. Room service ends at 21:15 which seems early to me. The site could of had a info message noting that at this time room service wasn't available but instead it had a label that room service was open for order. One time our key didn't work and when we went down the woman at the front desk kinda shrugged it off and fixed it as if this was a frequent occurrence. Our wardrobe light would switch off after being closed. The location is great and we enjoyed our stay. But the above were the things we had noticed.

Great hotel with a magnificent view on the Erasmus bridge. The staff is welcoming for the customers. The parking lot nearby is easy but be prepared to pay around 25-30ā‚¬ a day. The breakfast is just great in terms of choice and quality of the meals. Fantastic to enjoy your meal from the terrace with a view on Rotterdam. Still I find the rates a bit high for the confort and the services of the rooms. I paid for a "superior room with sunrise view" and I got the actual view shown on the picture...

This is a very nice hotel located next to the famous bridge and very close to the downtown. The rooms are big and comfortable. There is a gym and sauna if you would like to stay active and to relax. There is bar where you can enjoy the drink and to have some good chat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you all for the excellent teamwork šŸ‘

This is a wonderful hotel! We got a room on the last floor with a beautiful view of Erasmus bridge. It is expensive but it is well worth the price. The room was impeccable from the bedding to the bathroom. We also had a coffee machine and a kettle, both with coffee and tea in the room. Staff was really nice as well.

  • 3/5 Pascal S. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel with a very nice view. However the room needs a big upgrade. TV is very small and you cannot cast to the TV. Glass panes in the bathroom are quite dangerous (if you don't pay attention you will crash into it). Gastrobar Elvy is always very busy, and they do need more staff. We had a mediocre experience here. So please update the rooms and make them more of an experience, we were not blown away.

  • 5/5 Pinar O. 2 years ago on Google
Spectacular. Really. Meeting facilities are great. The gym (with a view) and sauna is amazing. The room was comfy, and just good. Location is great, you can take tram 23/25 to almost anywhere in the city centre in less than 10 mins.

  • 5/5 Tim H. 2 years ago on Google
Great Location! Away from the hustle and bustle from downtown in the city center. Still many places for food and drinks. The Watertaxi behind hotel New York is a great way to get into the city and back. If we book next time we will be sure to get a room with a view.

  • 5/5 Esther S. 1 year ago on Google
I am extremely satisfied with this hotel. The front desk service, great breakfast with a view and large clean room with comfy bed and a view makes my stay there comfortable and that is the only hotel I keep going back to stay in Rotterdam. Irene, the guest relations manager, is friendly and really helpful in getting me an extended night stay.

  • 5/5 Jan M. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful room on the 23rd floor overlooking the Erasmus bridge. Rooftop bar is a must-visit for late night drinks. Awesome breakfast (even compared to NH breakfast, which I consider to be quite good!) with great service by Jean-Marie! Robin at front office was also very thoughtful upon checkout.

  • 5/5 Renata K. 2 years ago on Google
Great hotel with beautiful view over the water and magnificent bridge. We loved every single thing about the hotel. Location is very convenient especially if you are going to enjoy performance in Luxor theatre. Metro is at the footsteps and takes you downtown with 2 stops. Staff was very easy going and friendly always there to assist. Breakfast offered so much choice and again the view. Same as the Bar, very good quality cocktails and very helpful staff. Absolutely recommend nhow hotel if you are looking for accommodation in Rotterdam.
