It's historic. Here graves of possible nuns were found under the floor. It is from the 17th century. There are masses at noon and in the afternoon.

Very nice place near the bay, if I'm not wrong it is one of the oldest churches in Santa Martha, important for the religiosity that is lived there.

Magical realism and the devastating reality of Santa Marta. We need a true commitment to preserve these places that safeguard our memory.

It is a welcoming church. Small but very cute. The location is excellent and it is very easy to find. They use it a lot for celebrations like weddings. And the truth is that with a very pretty flower decoration the church looks even more beautiful. It is very traditional and if you come from another city and want a moment alone with God this is a good place. If you are getting married, it is a small and very familiar wedding and your reception is somewhere in the historic center of Santa Marta, this is the perfect church. Super recommended
