Do NOT buy the lava lamps! My children each got one for their birthdays last month. I've been back to exchange them 3 times and again my daughters is not working! Biggest waste if $100 between the 2 of them! Essentially with the exchanges we are on 5 or 6 and still don't have a working one! We even purchased the extra bulbs as we were told the box bulbs were weak and still not working! **Update** I contacted guest services as noted from the owner response, they gave me a run down of how to use the product! Common sense is after this many returns I have received a low down from both the store and the manuals in the box! The product is garbage and does not work more than a couple of weeks! We followed the instructions from the very first purchase and even took the staffs suggestion to purchase the better quality bulbs! So it was not our end from the beginning and Guest Services was just as unhelpful!

Walked in the store today and not impressed at having staff roll their eyes and give me dirty looks when I explained that, I was unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons. I promptly left & will not be returning. I wonder if everyone with medical issues can expect the same treatment, or if it was just my lucky day. Staff may require customer sensitivity training. Also, people wearing masks are still required to stay 2 metres apart, but it's not possible in such a small & overstocked store!

I shop here all the time but tbh it's very unwelcoming because nobody talks to me. I've turned to buying my piercings online cause I often feel like a burden having to wait by a case for someone who is gonna ignore me as long as possible. Thank God there is one gentlemen that works there who is very friendly and always has the most colourful hair. He always makes me feel welcome and don't make me feel like an idiot when I can't find anything. I hope he gets tons of praise from HO and his management because he deserves it. I hope the rest of the team can follow in his steps, because THATS what customer service is about. It really hurts when you walk in and then the person behind you gets acknowledged instead. Please improve this :-)

Every time I go here to shop for new jewelry I have amazing experinces with the staff! Yesterday I went in with my sister and this employee with red hair (and an awesome septum ring) was so helpful, and offered great advice. Not to mention that he was incredibly personable and friendly. It is a little expensive (especially if you're buying more than a couple of things) but I can't recommend this place enough. 😊

Strange one, shop was fine and the staff helpful, however I was blissfully unaware of the Adult content at the back of the store. Don't take the kids back there unless you want to be answering some awkward questions

I was warned and respected the suggestion of not exploring the outter areas from cashing out area, as my daughter purchased an ear cartilage earing set to wear for her wedding. The gentleman that assisted us was very informative, professional and did a great job upselling. Clearly the place to go for titanium quality earrings at The Pen...4 people recommended it.

I absolutely love this place. There is so much to look at and has everything that you can think of. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and every time I am there I can always have a friendly conversation with the staff members. They do have a lot of awesome sales as well for example buy one get one from time to time.

I get all my cool t-shirts from here! And the staff is honestly the nicest group of people I've ever encountered in retail. Love this store!

Had a disappointing experience at Spencer's Gifts in Penn Center today. Despite a $44.99 sticker on the lava lamp, I was charged $49.99. When I brought it to the attention of the management, they refused to honor the lower price, citing the absence of a barcode. Customer service? Unbelievable. I won't be supporting Spencer's again; there are plenty of other lava lamp sellers out there. This is a prime example of why retail is struggling, and I wouldn't be surprised if Spencer's consequences for their poor service is yet another example of dying a long slow much deserved death.

For the second time this month I drove 50 km(each way). From Fort Erie to the Pen Centre in St Catharines to purchase a birthday gift from this store. Both times they closed early (7:50pm) I had to go home empty handed for a second time. Complete waste of my time and money. THIS STORE IS A JOKE. Anytime a computer goes down at any other store they do the transactions manually by writing down the information on a piece of paper. I'll be spending my hard earned money elsewhere from now on. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!

Not impressed with this store, when I was cashing out. I was not told that there is no cash refunds. They are extremely snoting when I called regarding. They should mention it to their customers. Horrible policy!

I placed and order online with the shipment included. I submitted a promo code for a discount didn’t apply on my bill. They charged me TWO separate shippings!! and i am trying to call to know what happened. I can’t get a hold on nobody. I live in Canada, do you only send items bought online from the us? Because it turned out to be ridiculously expensive because it’s coming from the us. When my bill was supposed to be 50$ with delivery included it turned out to be double and plus Fedex charged me 23$ extra for delivery,extra to the 10$ i already paid. Like i am paying you 100$ in jewelry but you can’t even allow a free delivery? Even if you’re sending from the US and free shipping doesn’t apply for Canada, you still shouldn’t be charging two separate delivery fee when the costumer had already paid for delivery. I ended up paying for 40$ worth in jewelry, 110$ :/ hell to the no. THE WEBSITE DOES NOT COUNT WITH SPECIFIC DETAILS ABOUT EXCHANGE RATE FROM USD TO CD, and I tried to get a hold on someone through email, phone, website, nothing... this was my last choice :/ to make a bad assessment here so you guys pay attention to a problem I’ve been trying to solve. This is also a warning to be cautious when you buy from CA, so you don’t get screw up make sure your delivery IS fully paid... but for that you gotta get a hold with someone and they don’t have it... they need to understand machines a coding sometimes doesn’t help, a representative in a phone line to solve questions would be muuuuuuuuuuch MUCH easier
