We came to Toronto from Ukraine. We left the war. At the airport, we turned to the Canadian Red Cross, and they settled us in the Best Western Premier. We were very worried, because we did not know where we would be and in what conditions. There was a free shuttle from the airport, a very pleasant driver brought us to the hotel.😊 We were greeted by very smiling and caring staff. The room has a large bed and an additional sofa, with all amenities, a large bathroom, a microwave oven, with all possible comfort for life. The next day, we needed to get to Service Canada, then a wonderful person, general manager Roshan, helped us get to our destination and returned to the hotel in person.🙏🙏😊 He kept asking if we like being here? We really enjoy our stay at the hotel! The restaurant cooks very delicious food, very caring waiters.❤️ And at the reception is all possible assistance. We are very grateful to everyone who provides assistance and are very kind to the Ukrainians.🇺🇦🙏❤️ Thank you very much for your kindness, care and help, we are very grateful to you🙏🇺🇦

I have never felt so deceived by Best Western. The accommodations were not up to the standard that I've come to expect, I normally stay at Best Western plus, So I expected more from Best Western Premier. The website looks beautiful. However, when we got to the room there were stains on the curtain, and chair, water damage on the wall and everything looked so dingy that we felt the need to do a bed bug check when we arrived. The five times that we took the shuttle all the drivers were grouchy except only one was helpful and pleasant. The others just did their job with an attitude. On our third day at the hotel we requested a turnover from housekeeping to change our towels out and empty the garbage bins. When we arrived back after being out all day nothing had been done. Our first morning at the hotel we thought we'd try out the on location restaurant but when we went in there was no one working to be found when we finally found an employee. She had a short attitude which made us feel unwelcome so we took our business elsewhere. After a long day of exploring, we figured we'd take a dip in the pool. However, when we arrive to the pool the area was definitely in need of a good cleaning. There's scum all over the place and in the hot tub there was visible floating debris. Pretty gross. 100% would not recommend.

It was a pleasant experience with good food availability. Rooms were clean and well organized. They don't provide service for carrying luggage to the rooms, customer have to do it themselves. Lady at the restaurant was polite and helpful while a girl in the restaurant was very rude and arrogant. Overall good experience!

DO NOT STAY HERE if you need a shuttle ride to airport. The front desk took 50 minutes to answer the phone to order the shuttle. Then a further 20 minutes to turn up. Rooms are what you would expect for the price. Nothing fancy but fine. Location is close to airport. In fact you feel like you are at the end of the runway as zero sound proofing. Staff were very unhelpful. No kind of apology for being left to over an hour. Never staying a Best Western again. I would recommend staying at one of the many others who have constantly running shuttles every 15 minutes. Check out the photo from their shuttle. lol. This is Best Westerns Premier. If I were in their corporate office I would be ashamed.

Convenient hotel from Pearson airport. Shuttle is reliable, check-in went smoothly. The room was clean (though somewhat rundown). The bed was amazing. Coffee is available in the room. Where they lost points with me was the lack of a late check-out option. They claim it's impossible because of the high demand for rooms but when your flight out is later in the day it's quite inconvenient. I sat in the lobby for hours with my luggage after being kicked out of my room at 10:58 AM by housekeeping knocking at my door. FYI, the onsite restaurant is closed between 11 AM and 5 PM and they charge 3$ for vending machine coffee in the lobby.

I booked a quarantine stay for my grandmother and my special needs uncle. There was an issue and they were going to arrived a day late, the hotel staff were amazing and moved the days with no extra charge. They arrived at 11pm and were still given supper, which I was great since they are both diabetic (Rice, chicken, and salad). We had another issue being able to get my grandma and uncle transported home and needed book another day. The hotel staff were amazing and had no issue extending their stay. My grandma said she had no issues finding the shuttle and enjoyed all the food. I would definitely recommend staying here, the staff were so polite and helpful. Thank you!

The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and had a smile at all times which you don t see to often in other hotels. They went out of their to accommodate the simplest of requests. Beds very comfortable. Added bonus was having the plains fly right by our room, yet very well insulated as you could barely hear the noise. Room was very clean. Will definitely go back. Thanks to management and personnel for a great experience.

My experience at this Best Western hotel was nothing less than stellar! Christine and Joylyn were absolutely exceptional and it is obvious that they take great pride in their work and providing a very accommodating experience for their patrons. It was amazing how attentive they are and the poise they display. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone because the staff actually care about the well-being of the residents and go above and beyond.

Only stayed here because it was close to the airport and the car rental place. The room was very good other than the deadbolt not working. at wasn’t working so they had space heaters all over. I can’t believe they are in business. The pool was freezing cold (advertised as heated) the hot tub was lukewarm and jet’s didn’t work. No towels so we called for some and they never showed up. Shower was sketchy and the steam room light didn’t work and an alarm type sound when turned on. We are very disappointed and not sure why there are so many positive reviews. The only saving grace is the room is pretty good.

The hotel was simply wow. Staff were so polite, professional and helpful. Arranged airport shuttle for both ways and the stay was fantastic. Room is clean and neat. Should try next time

What a fantastic stay! The front desk is exceptional with their customer service skills, especially Tatiana who helped check in times as smooth as possible, we then stopped by the restaurant for breakfast and had amazing service by Breanna! I have never laughed that hard at 8 in the morning! Such cheerful, sweet young ladies who made the stay very very memorable. Rooms are clean and orderly at an amazing price, the pool and gym are clean and mostly empty so that was a nice bonus as well, will definitely book in the future, definitely recommend!

The room was nice. I requested the room to be cleaned after our first night. The pull out sofa had no sheets, blankets or pillows. I had to ask three times to get them and finally on the second night I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The front desk team are deaf to concerns/complaints. An apology was offered, however, I feel it was hollow. I asked to speak with management and was told to write the hotel an email. Well, I think this is my email to you Best western Carlingview. Sincerely a BW Gold rewards member. Terrible.

Front desk service was good and my shuttle arrived on time with no issues. Sadly, that’s all that was good about my experience here. My bed sheets and pillow had small specks of blood on them. The room next to us was awake all night yelling and banging on the walls. I reached out to Expedia for a refund request, and all this business was able to provide me was with a $22 refund for my troubles… I’m not sure what type of refund that is when you pay $240 for a room. Very disappointed.

Well, the rooms were clean. Front desk very friendly, comfortable beds. The only problem I had was with the restaurant. My eggs were cold, but I was too hungry to send it back. I found the waitress very unattentive and slightly abrasive I will not be going back to that restaurant..

Hotel was nice. Room was nice. Staff were friendly when face to face. Getting shuttle FROM the airport was a pain! Had to call multiple times before they finally sent it. However shuttle TO the airport was super easy.

So very disappointed with my stay here. Only needed somewhere comfortable to stay for one night on a lay over. Check in was fine and room very clean but I had no comfort for sleeping because the room has no AC! Very stuffy and too warm. Not even a thermostat in the room. The one that’s here has the front of it tore off and is full of dust. Also no ice machine on our floor. Would never recommend it to anyone.

Front desk staff was amazing and helpful. I really appreciated the warm welcome. My room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is newly renovated and beautiful. There is no smell and it feels very clean for being a pet friendly room. The air conditioning is strong and keeping the room cool. The hotel room also came with complimentary coffee which will be enjoyed tomorrow morning.

Loved this hotel! The staff are great- friendly, helpful and attentive, and have good local knowledge. The rooms have beautiful decour and we're spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The restaurant was great too, and we took advantage of room service one evening when we were tired, and that worked really well for us and was a great experience🙂🙂

I recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Toronto Airport Carlingview Hotel and had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The convenient location near the airport made my travel plans a breeze. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options they offered. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto!

I really liked the hotel. I stayed there for 3 days in July and it was nice. The front desk and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room service was also great. I even tried the restaurant and the waitress recommended the Salmon dish which I absolutely loved it and would recommend the same to others. Would really like to go there again.

Enjoyed my stay here. The front desk agent Natalia was really nice. Not far from Airport. The pool is nice. To my surprise it has a Sauna too. Nice place to stay with friends and family.

This place falsely accused us for smoking in their rooms. if they check their cameras they’ll see us smoking outside every time we went for a smoke. They prolly just wanted to keep the 250. Sad. We wouldn’t be that stupid money wise, esp during financially hard times. Bad customer services. We were very upset. But we decided to just let it go, maybe we will be blessed in the future

We picked this hotel for a our layover in Toronto because it offered free breakfast and airport shuttle. The airport shuttle took over an hour to get to us and I had to call twice for them to even send the shuttle. When we got there, we found out that despite the website saying breakfast starts at 5, it starts at 7:30am. We couldn't get to the airport when we wanted because the shuttle was "already booked" for the earlier times. So if you are simply trying to find a place to stay with a free airport shuttle and breakfast, don't pick this one.

The hotel is right on the path for planes landing at the airport. The rooms themselves were quieter than I expected because of this. For the most amazing experience ever .... go to the parking garage rooftop and watch the planes coming in to land. Incredible

  • 4/5 Tom P. 9 months ago on Google
Very close to Airport. Direct pathway for landing aircraft. Has a rooftop viewing spot. Enjoyed exploring that. Stay on 2-3 floor. Restaurant very good.

Easy access to airport, clean rooms, very comfortable beds. Showers have great pressure. Just off a main highway for access to routes around Toronto.

Tatiana was our front desk host. She was amazing and extremely helpful. The pool is good but needs love. The rooms are clean and fresh. You barely hear the planes. It was a very pleasant stay.

My stay was 2 nights for the Pet Expo with my cat. The staff at the front desk were truly the definition of great customer service. They were kind, friendly, helpful and really went above & beyond. My room was clean and spacious.

Staff were very accommodating; they allowed me to keep my luggage there for an extra day past my checkout as I was traveling without a vehicle. They also allowed me to pay a debit deposit that was less than the usual amount as I didn't have a credit card with me. Price was fairly high but this is typical of the area around the airport

  • 3/5 Nathan W. 1 year ago on Google
A decent place to stay. Nice enough rooms, good price, and good soundproofing to protect against the occasional plane flying close overhead. Great service as well. The room design did leave a bit to be desired overall. The AC had a hard time getting the room below 22C overnight even with just me in the room and nothing else producing heat. I wanted it down at 20C or even a bit cooler than that so I could be properly comfortable under the heavy blankets. Ended up sleeping with only the sheet, which wasn't as nice. The shower also left a lot to be desired. Water pressure was very minimal, such that it felt the water was dropping onto me with the force of gravity rather than any real added force behind it, which I would have liked to have. Additionally, the main window in the room had only a light curtain in front of it which let in a lot of light in the morning. Blackout shades would have been very helpful, or at least *something* heavier than what they actually had. The shades themselves were pulled closed by rods that hung so close together that, if the shades were fully closed, the AC unit's placement had it knocking the rods together regularly. I had to leave the shades partly open while I slept as a result. Lastly, the maintenance could have been better. One of the automatic doors right at the entrance got stuck less than half open when I first arrived, and the elevators were both slow and felt a little rickety and unsafe. However, I didn't have any actual problems with them. Not bad overall, especially given the price in comparison to other hotels near the airport. I'd like to give 3.5/5, but that isn't an option.

Went to park my truck. I paid for 1 week and my flight got canceled and they refunded my full week. Bonus indoor lot. Rates were great. Service was fantastic. Place looked clean have to stay there next time.

This place was fine for a one night stay. The room smelled very strongly of bleach. I understand why, but still a bit unpleasant. The staff was very friendly. If you're relying on the airport shuttle to pick you up you'll be waiting a while. It's supposed to come every 30 mins, but I waited close to an hour and saw every other hotel shuttle come by at least twice. Overall it's fine if you're looking for a place to sleep for one night.

My stay was comfortable accommodating and the staff was extremely hospitable and friendly, polite and kind. The location of the hotel was in close proximity to Pearson international airport and thereby convenient for quick shuttle service to and from the airport which was graciously and promptly served. I choose Best Western Premier hotels almost exclusively whenever available as my primary consideration for away from home stays. 10 out of 10

  • 5/5 Dmitry 1 year ago on Google
Great Stay! They accommodated me at incredibly short notice and the staff are lovely and super helpful. The rooms are very big with all amenities and there’s a gym and pool whilst you stay. The food is also surprisingly really good with a nice varied selection for both breakfast and dinner!

  • 2/5 Guy L. 2 years ago on Google
Accommodations were adequate for the location but beware of extra charges like parking. They won't mention it and then you'll end up with a charge on your credit card several days after your departure. Not good business. Will not be returning as there are more hotels in the neighborhood that have free parking

  • 5/5 Zeke M. 1 year ago on Google
Overall great but Sweatha from the front desk put the service score over the top! She came to the airport to bring me my headphones, which I forgot at the hotel during breakfast, before the flight. Life saver and employee of the year for me. Thanks again!

Nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Has a very nice restaurant. Food was good. Portions were a fair size. The rates were fairly reasonable. Had a nice pool. Staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of parking. There was a garage type parking. Covered. Very close to the airport. Would stay there again.

We stayed one night before our flight the next morning. Unfortunately our plane left without us, leaving us pretty stuck. Thankfully the staff at the hotel hadn't cleaned our room yet, so we got to piggyback another night with zero issues AND they allowed us to checkout late since our flight was later on that night. Lovely and helpful staff, will definitely come back in the future just for this fact. The hotel room was good, clean and lots of towels and shampoos lotions etc.

  • 2/5 Michael E. 1 year ago on Google
Front desk services amazing, maintenance helped me with small personal issue. Went way out of their way to help. Rooms not worth the charge they charging. I've stayed in many best westerns and this is not up to the others standards. Close to airport but don't have reliable shuttle service. Had I known they didn't run 24 hrs I would've stayed elsewhere. Cost me 60 plus in taxis to get back to hotel within 5 minute drive from airport. They told me if I was staying again they would come pick me up. Underground parking be careful with trucks. Height is big problem

Hotel is clean, staff are amazing!! Wonderful sleep. BUT……. If you drive a Honda- do not park it here, your car will get stolen. Came back after a weeks vacation to no vehicle.

The location is good, the airport shuttle doesn’t work properly. The breakfast is not included in the bill. The rooms are terrible. The smell is awful and the cherry on top is the bedbugs. When I told the receptionist, she tried to blame it on me. Saying maybe I brought the bedbugs. Don’t recommend it to anyone! P.S. the room was filled with bedbugs and I saw them immediately on the white sheets!

  • 5/5 Nicole C. 9 months ago on Google
Super close to the airport and the shuttle service was easy. I called the hotel and they pick up right away giving you directions to the hotel. Shuttle is clearly marked to this hotel. Comes every 30 mins and by appointment so you’re back at the airport whenever you want! Room was super clean, loved the accent wall in mine (see pic). Bed super comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer!

  • 2/5 Shayla G. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms have a strange combination of colours and are not visually appealing. We were only provided with 2 towels when they knew 3 people were staying in the room. Went swimming and there were no towels near the pool. Had to practically beg for someone to bring towels and then they only brought 8 when there were at least 14 people in the pool area. Then they wouldn't let us take the towels with us back up to our room, so we had to drip ourselves back upstairs. There is also nowhere to hang your bathing suit to dry once you get back into your room other than hooks directly above the floor, which will inevitably get wet unless you put one of the two towels alloted to you on the ground. Nothing is really complimentary in the lobby, not even coffee. Planes fly directly above and quite close to this hotel and are quite low. If you're a thrill seeker this might be the place for you. I did like that the rooms had a fridge and microwave. All in all, would not recommend unless this place is the only option.

For over $200 a night, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked a hotel for an overnight layover in Toronto, and it was an absolute nightmare trying to catch the shuttle. I called Best Western 5 times. The first time I called I was told the wrong bus pick up station, so I missed the first shuttle. The second time I called, they hung up on me as I was asking a question about where to meet the shuttle. When the shuttle finally arrived, the driver said it was full and he would have to come back for me. It was 11:30PM, and I was the only person left standing on the platform. I had been waiting an hour outside in sun zero temperatures at the point. At this point, I was in tears, and I asked the driver if the shuttle could possibly fit one more person. And low and behold, there actually was space, he just didn’t care to look. He rather leave me, a woman, standing outside all by myself in the middle of the night. I check in. It’s fine. The next morning I tell the front desk about what happened and all I got was a condescending “aw I’m sorry” from the woman working the front desk. And my bill was higher than I was quoted (I was quoted $212, I paid $258). The front desk lady said I would be refunded bc it was the security deposit. I look at my receipt: the extra add-on was taxes and fees. As for the cherry on top, on the shuttle back to the airport, the driver was extremely comfortable making the most sexist comment I have heard in a long time. A woman was parked in the way and he said “you know what the problem is! It’s the lady drivers! They don’t know anything.” Livid. Don’t stay here, or at any Best Western.

Reading earlier reviews made me a little hesitant to book, but the price and location were right, so I booked anyway. I was very happily impressed with my stay. I needed to call the hotel for a shuttle when I arrived at the airport but it did not take long to arrive. Check in was easy, my room was clean, the people were friendly, and the restaurant served delicious food. I would definitely recommend.

A lot of mixed feelings about this place. First, the positives. The lobby area is nice and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms left quite a lot to be desired. The size of the room is decent and I appreciated the AC, which worked really well. However, the design aesthetic is a little tacky and the hard floors instead of carpet was a little off-putting. The beds are pretty hard for my taste as well. The shower doesn't have a closing door so you can't really avoid getting water all over the floor which is a massive pain. There was also a potentially used tissue just sitting on the bathroom counter when we checked in. Lastly, the location really isn't ideal. Being close to the airport is nice but there are constantly planes flying right overhead so light sleepers beware. Overall, I don't think these rooms are worth the price and I wouldn't stay here again unless I was desperate.

Staff was very professional and helpful. Night staff was very helpful in finding extra blankets. Housekeeping did a great job 👏! Rooms were very clean and spacious! Hotel is pet friendly and I felt welcomed with my puppy. Beds were comfortable and pillows as well!

Although the hotel could use some updating, it is a very convenient and cost effective hotel at the airport. The front desk staff are extremely welcoming and provide great service. The room was fine, and surprisingly quiet considering planes were landing outside the window. The restaurant is excellent as was the service that we recieved. Our waitress Sabrina was excellent, very friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle to the airport which is so convenient. I think it took us less than 10 minutes to get to Terminal 1. Definitely a good choice for a pre or post flight hotel.

  • 4/5 Gerald R. 1 year ago on Google
I recently stayed at here, and overall, I had a decent experience. However, there were a few issues that detracted from my stay. One of the main issues was that the housekeeping staff did not empty the garbage in my room from the last guests. While this may seem like a minor issue, it was disappointing to check into my room after a long day and see that the garbage was there. It made the room feel unclean and untidy, and I had to take care of it myself. Aside from this issue, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall, I would recommend with the caveat that guests should be aware of some small housekeeping issues. I hope the hotel will address this issue and ensure that their guests have a comfortable and clean stay.

The shuttle got sent to the wrong Pearson terminal, so my daughter and I waited for 45 minutes & got to the hotel close to midnight. The nice woman at reception did offer us free drinks & snacks for the inconvenience. 10 minute ride from the airport.

Nice rooms, good service, clean. Had to wait about 30 minutes before the shuttle came to the airport, then again it was the middle of the night. In the morning perfectly on time. Beware when you make reservstions, lift goes to 4th floor only

  • 3/5 EK L. 9 months ago on Google
The shuttle from the airport took 47min till it picked us up, even though they said it would take less than 5min. At times, we could not get through to the front desk. Breakfast was good, although both breakfasts we received our orders mixed up. We did receive extra breakfast vouchers, which was greatly appreciated. The pool was too cold, but the sauna and hot tub were good, although the hot tub jets did not seem to work . Both days, the pool was out of towels. Our bathroom was not clean their were multiple hair on the floor. Everything else was fine in our room. This would be, in our opinion, typical 2 star for a Best Western, not a Best Western Premier rating. We have in the past had an excellent experience with a Premier in Medicine Hat, Alberta , but this was disappointing.

  • 5/5 Nicole M. 3 months ago on Google • 2 reviews New
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, great value for your money and our room was very clean. I loved the facilities, like the saunas and pool and hot tub. The pool room floor could have been cleaner and hot tub jets were weak, but overall it was a great wellness facility including the gym. Modern treadmills and some free weights and a cable machine were good! There were actually 2 saunas (wet and dry ) which was wonderful and made up for the fact that the hot tub wasn’t as good as it could have been. Free shuttle to the airport as well and everything went well! Our flight was delayed and when I called to rebook the shuttle they offered us a late checkout for free which was fantastic. I really appreciate that gesture. Overall I thought this hotel was great value for the money. The restaurant wasn’t great, but the server was very, very sweet with quick service. There is also a Popeyes restaurant and some other little places to eat close by.
