Hotel Indigo Toronto Airport Hotel

Hotel

😠 We have stayed at this hotel, formally known as the Hotel Indigo over the past 6 years, 8 times. Last year January we were aware of changes being made. Since that time the hotel has gone down hill. On the evening oh January 26/16 we waited over 30 minutes for the airport shuttle despite 2 phone call... People often mention hotel, room, shuttle, told, stay,

Reading all the mixed reviews we were not sure of the place after we booked thru priceline. However, my family and I loved the place. The pool/hot tub and Sauna were terrific. Employees courteous, place clean, towels and sheets fresh. Definetely look forward to staying there again.

I've stayed there twice and have NO clue what people are on about with the weird odor, poor service and bed bugs, none of which I've encountered. My only complaint is their ridiculous deposit rates, especially compared to their low room cost. Oh, and the second time I stayed, I got a room with a broken shower hose. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, I sure didn't notice anything off about the food, and the whole place looks great to top it off. Overall, 4 out of 5. The only reason I'm not going there this year for my annual trip is because they're far from where I'm going and aren't offering shuttle service this year.

Took the shuttle 2 hours to finally pick me up and that's because I went looking for it when I was told to stay inside and that he come find me. The shuttle guy was very rude when I finally got on and the guy on the phone at the desk got mad at me also. The shuttle guy wad going 130-140km to the hotel and felt like we might crash with his driving and honking at everyone on the way. When I finally got to the hotel at 330am I quickly checked in and went to my room to sleep. It was -30 outside and they had the air conditioning on in the room went to ask the guy at the desk to help and he told me to deal with it myself. When i woke up i went to go workout in the fitness room and all the machines were broken. I will never stay at bwp hotel ever again and I would not recommend anyone to go either. The price of the room is very expensive for the experience I received.

This is a hotel in transition. Nothing fancy. Clean room, clean hallways. Can't confirm the bed bugs. I'm constantly travelling and that is the first thing I look for once I enter the room. There was no evidence in this room anyway. The cab driver was good enough to tell me it is a big prostitute hotel. I can get anything I want. I got what I wanted, a good nights sleep. Hotel is directly below a flight path, great for plane spotting.

Wouldn't accept my $1000 cash deposit for the room. Credit card only, which I choose not to use. Restaurant closed early. Gritty dirt or sand on all the seating in the hot tub. Dry sauna didn't work. Called for shuttle after coming back to hotel from the CN Tower and were told it would be 10 mins. Had an old friend waiting for our arrival back at the hotel and the shuttle didn't come. Called after 25 mins, again told it would be 10 minutes. Didn't come and our friend had to leave to go to work and I won't see him for another year! Shuttle never did come while the hotel shuttles from all the other major hotels like Sandman, Hilton, Comfort Inn, Mariott and others all came and went at least 3 times. Finally had to take a taxi back to hotel after waiting over an hour and a half with no shuttle ever showing up. It ruined our day, evening and our stay in Toronto. Vending machine steals your money and there's only the one on the 4th floor. Fridge by reception desk has nothing in it for sale other than cranberry juice and sprite. No chips or cheezies or snacks of any kind. No convenience store anywhere nearby for confectionaries are cigs..... nightmare. Don't stay here. It's terrible. Planes flying by all night. What a terrible excuse for a hotel.

Since that time the hotel has gone down hill. On the evening oh January 26/16 we waited over 30 minutes for the airport shuttle despite 2 phone call to the hotel.. Upon our arrival at 10.00pm we decided to have a drink and some thing to eat, only to be told both restaurant and bar closed at 9.00pm . Never before have I known for a hotel to close its bar and restaurants so early. The Hotel directory they are open from 5.00pm till 12.00am? No doubt this will be our last stay at this hotel. We have stayed at many other Best Western Hotels with no problems. Am even a member of the Gold Crown Club!.

There are bed bugs! Horrible stay! They say they renovated but actually their mattresses and bed sheets were so dirty . When we wanted our money back the manager kept brushing us off and told us that the picture we took of the bedbug on their beds looks like a dot and not a bug. Their staff is horrible! Waste of money and time! This isn't the first time this has happened. Never staying with them again! They're such frauds!

First and last time staying at this hotel! The bed sheet was dirty, the maids didn't take the over flowing trash cans out and on my last morning there I was woken up by a screaming match between two of the maids! It was completely unprofessional. They continued the yelling match even after I interrupted them informing them they woke me up.
