👍 Plenty of restrooms in the carpark. BBQs available and a cafe. (Check opening hours.) Plenty of walks. If you get up there early you can see lyrebirds and Wallabies.

The concrete floored shelter that allowed easy shaded access for disabled, wheelchairs etc, has been removed for some reason.....but the fantastic views are of course still their. Great spot for a picnic, walk or to enjoy the views of the RJ Hame...

👍👍 The playground has an awesome collection of things to do from little ones to big! With great things to climb and play on for all ages. It has a miniature recreation of the town for imaginative play. Great place, the kids could have played there all day quite happily.

👍👍 Best park in the East for sure. So peaceful, yet has great ambience with families around. Feels safe, clean and very well maintained. Went on a public holiday for a picnic date and it was so good. Trees for shade, good grass and a lovely scene to look at. Only thing is that parking is very limited...

👍👍 Absolutely stunning. I'm not sure why these gardens aren't more popular. I love the Alfred Nichols gardens, but for my taste I adore these gardens more. Not as large but packed pull of gorgeous plants and flowers. It's also not as busy as other gardens. Do your self a favour and visit these gardens....

👍 A group of us went here today to paint - very peaceful and beautiful with the trees changing colour. It’s also a great place for young kids with a well equipped playground Toilets are on site - however (the only downside) they are not well attended.

👍👍 Great outing for the young kids. Many different trains to take the kids on with a ship nearby selling hot dogs and rolls. The rides are quite long and the tickets are very worthwhile.

👍 Beautiful place for a walk, dog friendly but need to keep them on the lead. I noticed free dog poop bags supplied by the council, so nice to see. I hope others parks could do like this. Heaps of ducks and good seats along some of the paths.
