Established museum in a stately, historical building featuring archeological finds & guided tours.

👍👍 The museum is amazing. There are very nice artifacts especially in the underground room and there are many of them that were influenced by the Greek history. The personnel was friendly and always willing to help and also the souvenirs were quite different from everything else at the seaside.

👍👍 If you by chance come to Tulcea and you are not in a hurry, this is a beautifull place to spend some time. A lot of improvements have been done from the muzeum's opening. More things should to be done yet in order to bring the delta's spirit here but nevertheless it's a great place to visit.

👍👍 Folk Art museum is located in a beautiful and spacious building. With a rich collection of icons, images, painted eggs and great many traditional dresses. Embroidered and spinned towels. Very interesting. And you can buy unforgettable souveneers. Handmade. And painted eggs too.

👍 Great to take kids and have fun. The helm near the entrance actually works! I had tons of fun steering into nothingness. Great historical artillery pieces for kids to learn. Unfortunately the interior of the museum is closed for the pandemic but still amazing place to go even if only for outside

👍👍 A very well documented museum with diverse and interesting exhibits. It contains 2 permanent exhibitions and one temporary one dedicated to the Great Union. It's worth visiting!
