Bunny Flat Trailhead
Hiking area
πŸ‘πŸ‘ It offers two trails - Ski Bowl and Horse camp. Ski Bowl is higher in elevation and a longer hike. Beautiful, scenic views but it was hard to follow the trail because it was covered in snow still. If you’re feeling adventurous, I’d recommend ski bowl but if not - Horse camp is your best option.

Box Canyon Dam
Hydroelectric power plant
😠 Do you want to visit th dam? Forget it. It's surrounded by fence and wires. Also, as we are in a drought, they won't let any water out. So the dam is giant slap of dry concrete. The lake formed by the dam maybe worth visiting. I see people playing on the beaches.

Shasta Abbey

πŸ‘πŸ‘ No where to go, thousands of miles from home, and coming to terms with something that happened to me a few nights prior while in the desert of Nevada, I found myself standing outside of the gate of the Abbey asking to come in.
