👍👍 Definitely worth the drive from the I-80. Only tribe owned museum in the state. Kind staff and informative. After visiting the museum head on north towards the lake and then go west/southwest bound towards Reno. Beautiful scenery besides the lake and in the mountains.

👍👍 Beautiful trail. I’d give it a 1/5 in terms of difficulty. There are a few different trails which are all interconnected. Would recommend to go on a few different ones as each one is unique. The trail can get a little muddy if you’re going after rain. There are a couple of waterfalls in this network...

👍👍 Free parking. Small play area for the little. Restrooms that are clean and smell clean. Outdoor showers. Covered pavilions with tables and grills. Ramp or steps to access beach. Beautiful wide beach especially at low tide. Near the pier.

👍👍 The trail is about a mile most of it is walking up built in steps. The view is worth the journey.

👍 I never give 5 stars, unless I'm truly surprised at conditions and soundings being top notch. The place is maintained but in need of minor TLC. No places for people to lurk or hangout. Trash cans are maintained and free of trash.

🫤 I rode the entire length of the trail from the trailhead to Skiatook. There was still plenty of broken glass on parts of the trail while riding out of North Tulsa. I was also chased down my dogs twice. The first was a dog that duh it's way out of a fence and chased me after I stopped at a crossing....
