We had to leave early morning (6 am) and the lift was not switched on, even though the manager told me one of the lift stays on throughout the night. My 70+ year old parents had to walk 8 floors down with stairs. Their food is overpriced compared to eating out. The washroom had leaks all over. The furniture was good, but the room was not spacious and the beds were not comfy.

Very unprofessional! They took a 3/4 rooms flat on rent and opened this guest house. They only want money. Don’t care about guests. They have made some very wierd rules. You are bound to take their poor quality foods with high price tag and you have to buy 3 persons food even if you are only 2 persons. There is only one person who does everything in this guest house like cleaning, cooking, managing, booking, reception. You can now easily guess about this so called guest house.

Nice home arrangement, specially the behavior of the caretaker Mr Edison. Rating 4 star because the quilt and the bed was smelly which gave me a feeling that they do not wash it well, also there were construction work undergoing around so sleeping during the day (which I did anyway) was difficult due to excessive noise.

I have stayed at Marry Guesthouse many times, sometimes for prolonged periods (one month +). For the budget you will not find a better option in Dhaka. The place is immaculate, the staff are attentive and for breakfast and dinner you can have excellent hearty Bangladeshi food.
