I gave this Irish pub more than one chance (there is not much to choose from in town!) but every time I'm disappointed. Guinness is good there, but food is overpriced and not good quality. I had Sunday roast two times, and I will not go there again for more. The (only) other Irish in Haarlem is much better quality and lower prices, both for beer and food.

There's no place like home, but there's a place that comes quite close. Every night I spend in Tierney's ends up being a very memorable one. We know this place since our first visit to Haarlem in 2018. We visit this lovely city almost every year and when we stay -usually for 7/10 nights- we always have dinner here. It is a great place for a couple of pints of guinness and nice pub comfort food. Burgers, fries, bitterballen ,pies... everything is supper yummy. We even have had twice new years eve dinner in this place with a special menu at a reasonable price. Staff is really nice and helpful. should you have any question the owner is always looking forward to giving answer to emails or messages. I can only recommend this place if you fancy Irish style pub food, drinks and athmosphere. We will be back soon again for sure.

Best Irish bar in the Netherlands. Great staff, food and atmosphere. Everyone working here is friendly and professional and the customers are always nice. The spare ribs are the best I have ever eaten and fall off the bone. Tierneys really feels like a home from home for an Irish/British expat living abroad. If you like sports there are many TVs and options and the staff will always try their best to accommodate you if you have a request. Children and dog friendly. A definite must if you are visiting Haarlem anytime soon.

Went on a Monday evening for pub quiz night - super fun and will definitely go back! Three euros to play and it lasts two hours so well worth the money for a night of entertainment. Beers pretty expensive though but served in pint glasses. I wish the pub quiz questions were a bit more varied - maybe to include questions about science.

The food was great. I personally loved my Tierney Burger, but the service was poor. The waitress could not explained the menue, were not aware of their beer stuck, and finally forgot the kid's food which was supposed to be prepared earlier than rest of us.

Ok, I love this place! I probably come here every other week or so. There's always a really boisterous atmosphere and the food is just really good bar food. I just love these Irish Pubs where the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is wonderful. The shared platter is definitely worth it but you might want to take a slight pause before going on to the main course. We were both so full but still tried to eat because of the great taste.
