Stayed here one night. Staff on the first day were good and helpful although hard to find (it is off peak season and the hotel is nearly empty of guests and staff). In any case the room didn’t have functioning AC so it was quite warm in the room. We are enjoying the area so my husband talked to a staff member who said we can switch rooms and our second night would be offered at a large discount. When we were called to say the new room was ready, we went to the reception counter where we found a female staff member who said she was aware that we were promised a lower rate for the night but she wouldn’t be honouring it and wanted to charge he several hundred shekels more than the price that was agreed upon. Did I mention it is off peak season? This is a large hotel and only a handful of rooms were occupied. Rather than honour the discount, they would rather have another empty room. Now we are spending our money on the competitor next door. Way to go, Royal.

Low quality hotel, food is cold, rooms are missing amenities, bathroom barely flushes, 2/4 elevators working but not very well. We wasted at least 1-2 hrs waiting for the lift. Very poor quality and would not recommend. The pool is salty and heated with is nice Service was in the end very nice as they helped accommodate us

Shall we just call it eventful? There is nothing to do there for the kids even though they say there is a game room and pool - it's not functional. The service! Well they know how to argue with you. We could not believe those people are supposed to welcome guests in. Breakfast was ok although seem like been cut down version. They tell you it's fine to check out late but then security comes knocking at your door why did you not check out yet.. odd feeling over all. The indoor pool with dead sea waters was a legend.

outdated in every aspect. design is stuck in the 80's. i spent half my time waiting for an elevator and the second half stopping at each floor. pool is ok, dinner and lunch were ok. staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms were clean.

Unfortunately it was the worst experience I ever had with a hotel, on a global scale. It's written that the check in is from 3 pm. Me and my hausband arrived at the recommend time but only to discover that in this hotel, "from 3pm", means that maybe the rooms will be ready or maybe not. When we asked about when the rooms will be available, the receptions including the managers, had no idea. One hour and a half later we got the key. The room was poorly cleaned and bad mantained (broken shower doors, rust in the tub). There are 4 elevators that randomly arrive every here and then. Luckily we discovered the cleaning service elevators so even if they were smelly and dirty, at least they were faster. The management in this hotel is seriously unprofessional and totally unaware on how to run an expensive hotel. Everything is cahotic and it the staff who works there is totally lost. Personally I never come back to this hotel even if it's the only available option in the dead sea. Don't waste your money.

Room quality way below standard, breakfast quality poor, paid for a five star experience and received a one star experience, do not recomend at all, total rip off , was charged $385 a night, not worth it at all.... AVOID

Met a tour group for dinner. Nice food and pleasant staff. Noticeable that entry lobby has NO place to sit, just big empty marble floor. There is lounge on left with heavy dated chairs. Needs some design help, for sure.

Much better then expected. Everything was just perfect and I'm not dead sea type i don't like the area so i was 3 days weekend always there. There is only one problem but it won't make me decrease the rate, the elevator is not active enough for all the visitors, you always need to wait very long for the elevators even tho they got 4 elevators.

Sorry to say, DON’T stay here! I should have known there was a problem when we arrived and you felt like cattle at check in. Way too many people, NOT enough staff. We waited FOREVER. The elevators were super slow. The WIFI was so bad, practically unusable. Parking was the WORST. Nowhere to park, and when I found a spot, someone blocked me in! I couldn’t get my car out, so I was trapped. Management couldn’t care less, and said tough luck. I couldn’t return my rental car on time and had to pay extra! And the food? Meh. Do yourself a favor. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Our tour was greeted by the manager with refreshments, and our room keys. Beautiful 16th floor large room. Great bathroom with tub AND separate shower. Comfortable king size bed. Delicious dinner snd breakfast buffet. They also have an indoor salt sea pool, big. Had to experience to floating in the pool. Wi-fi worked good in our room. Slow elevators, especially the Shabbat elevator. Beautiful scenic views of the Salt Sea.

Awful hotel. Would not recommend. They refuse to answer the phone for hotel bookings and for spa bookings. Once we arrived, the front person, אושר, was extremely rude and nasty. We made the reservation for 3 people but she said that she was unable to accommodate us and literally told me she needed to watch one of the person from the party walk outside of the hotel because she has no rooms available. Then magically she had a room available. Unbelievable. Would never come again.

Very Large comfortable rooms. If u feel like spending a bit more the Panoramic View rooms offer exactly what the room title states "Beautiful Pamoramic Views". Food is good. Dead Sea pools amazing. Great spa. Nice pool, new chaise lounges

We came to the hotel through booking.com and i was waiting for the confirmation, at the front desk the staff is amazing and very friendly, however when we finally got the room we went up and when we opened the sofa bed we were shocked 😲 how bad it was , it was broken and had many stains and food all over it. We were disgusted and felt uncomfortable. Then the staff brought another bed and it was broken and uncomfortable and we were very disappointed with the hotel, we were promised that wthey will be hendel the situation

Very dirty, dining room dirty like after party and there is birds. At 1am some one knocked door and then opened it, I were yelling, then at 6pm while I was resting on the bed and guest came in to my room, it's was another mistake. Horrible Hotel, it was not cheap but even for free is horrible Also have to mention, room didn't cleaned after first night, after complains one other day was cleaned but without small towels.

Nobody in the reception never. Waiting in line every time we need something. Never saw something like this before in a Hotel. Breakfast was outstanding.

The worst hotel I’ve been at. Toilet was dirty and it took a day and 3 calls but they only cleaned it after I went down to the lobby with my camera open and asked again… Asked 3 times for a blanket for the baby but it also came only the next day, I had to cover her with towels, And many many more problems…. So if you wold like to go camping in a price of an expensive hotel, this is the one for you…
