👍👍 Took shinkansen train back to Tokyo from here. Enjoyable journey with the shinkansen. Make sure prebook the seat first, it is on time train. About 3 hrs travel time to reach Tokyo from Osaka. Big station, need to know where to take the train from. Each platform has a number.

👍 Great station to connect easily. There are services on JR as well as Shinkansen. Convenient to transfer. There are so many lines which can be quite confusing. But the Signboards are clear. Ameyoko market, Ueno zoo and Ueno Park are nearby. Keisei Skyliner starts from here and reaches Narita Airport...
